That's absolutely awesome! Hey Chris would you consider doing a video showing your personal collection of built models? You've built how many in the past what? 8-9 years, you must have a fantastic collection on the shelf!..shelves.... I remember you saying you gave a few away but you must have a collection happening? I would love to see a video of that!.. and I know many styrene model builder folks like me who love your videos would love to see a video of your personal collection. Your friend Tom from Ottawa Ontario Canada eh!...👍😀🇨🇦🇺🇸❤
Another great build, thank you for posting this. I've already got all of the AMT modified stockers in my stash, including the original issue of this Falcon. I'll probably purchase this reissue too. Fun kits to build. I've got a bunch of pictures from the 60's, 70's and early 80's of race cars running this big tires. They used to call them "humpers".
Like the gentleman below, I builtan issue of this model I purchased several years ago Ithrew some parts from my parts box into mine so I didn't have some of the problems you ran into. My SBF uses the 4 B Carb, but I used a chrome air cleaner from my parts box, and reversed the TALL hood scoop from the AMT '64 "super street" Chevy Impala which fit the hood hole perfectly. Thanks for giving us modelers some good suggestions for our own builds ! Now it's time to build my AMT '23 Ford Depot Hack. Oh, Lordy !
I really love the Color on this Falcon build !! I was hoping that the kit had more old stock version parts still in it?! But very nice just the same!!!
I've bought all of the modified stocker series and indeed will have to get this one. I really enjoyed all the weathering and the tire rubs on the side...EXCELLENT!!!
@alwynemcintyre2184 I don't think they have made a street Falcon that wasn't a promo. I've only seen these releases but I haven't looked on scalemates yet. Just looked found one or two that could be built stock but the rest were like this and drag cars
@purpurahaze9179 TRUMPETER makes a couple different versions of the 1964 Ford Falcon street cars, they are extremely nice but can be a little pricey but they are extremely well detailed. I got lucky and bought 4 different versions for under $40.00 each.
Maybe next time they need move the hole in the bonnet/hood back a touch to line up with the air cleaner, maybe a line drawing of the interior to show where everything should be?
How about an 18" x 18" pre cut board from Home Depot as a grass and dirt covered Pit Area Diorama, with a big tree. Feature this 1969 Falcon Modified kit, the trailer from the '64 Ford Galixie / Falcon kit and the 1963 Ford F100 Camper truck kit to pull the trailer. Add the AMC Gremlin Modified kit. Use two figures and a wood bench with tool box. 5 clear sheets of 18" x 18" for a cover. Then swap out Modified car kits from time to time.
Once you showed the whole car together, it clearly illustrates a big problem with many of this series of kits.... they sit way too high! The wheel openings should be cut MUCH further up into the body to lower the "stance". I'm building a couple of these kits, and I plan on dropping them down a bunch and also tucking the tires in closer to the chassis.
This may be an unanswerable question, I've seen a lot of models for Dodge and Chevrolet compact cars. But next to nothing for the other brands, don't know the answer just curious
I don't know about the air cleaner , but that roll cage don't look like a very good fit at all! Don't even look like the one on the box. That would be the first thing I would change in the kit.
I used them on the Fairlane stocker that I built but I cut grooves into them to look like dirt tires. I think they can be accurate for some builds but definitely could be changed out for smaller ones too. The fun thing about this type of car is how many different ways you can build them.
Thanks again for telling us your mistakes, to save us from making the same ones. Great build.
That's absolutely awesome!

Very nicely done Chris! Love the story behind this stocker and the detail is impressive!

I got a Mad Max vibe when I saw the completed model - I really need to try one of these to shake up my collection a bit and test my skills some more.
Very nice build of a nice kit. Excellent work with the weathering. Thanks for sharing.
Cool tip about the two part tires. The insert can be painted a flat white primer and you now have a white wall slick for your greaser gasser.👍👍👍
Very cool 😎 Chris. I was stationed in Manitowoc, WI, in the mid 90's. We went to a few modified races. Had a great time.
So glad they reissued this one! I pre-ordered one from Model Roundup.
I really love the Color on this Falcon build !!
I was hoping that the kit had more old stock version parts still in it?!
But very nice just the same!!!
Another great video as always thank you for sharing.

Nice, story, I like the tires
Great build
Thank You For The Review 🐎Mr. ED Says Just Have Fun Modeling
Really nice kit
It always amazes me how adds pop up for shit you were just talking about.
Plastic addicts? I'm offended! I rather be called Styrene junkie! lol
Race cars aren't my thing, but that's a nice build!
But if it leads to a falcon coupe street car I can live with it

@@teddyjones8027 Yeah I knew there was other falcon kits I was referring to specficly this bodystyle
@@purpurahaze9179 oh ok I got ya
Cool as always.
Great build mate👍
nice build!

I would love to see what a super detailer could do with this kit. I am not much of a race car fan but I would love to try one of these.

What are you using in the eye dropper when using the super glue while building the roll cage and chassis?
Does the carb need to be turned 180 degrees? Just a guess. Really enjoy your videos especially the music!
Another fantastic build , I have had horrible luck with kyrolon paint, what is the secret to use it
Maybe glue the air cleaner a little further forward on top of the carb.
What glue do you use besides regular model glue?
The Revell Deals Wheels looked more realistic.
what is the acual build time. like the work you do
I want one
This may be an unanswerable question, I've seen a lot of models for Dodge and Chevrolet compact cars. But next to nothing for the other brands, don't know the answer just curious
You said couldn't build stock, well I did built two stock hotrods of course I used lot putty and styrenep plastic but it came out sharp,
I don't know about the air cleaner , but that roll cage don't look like a very good fit at all! Don't even look like the one on the box. That would be the first thing I would change in the kit.

I don't care what the internet says about those tires, but they look way too big to look real! You must have something better in your stash of parts.
I agree. They were always too big. I've been building for 50 years.
Just because it doesn't make sense to you doesn't mean it ain't so...
I used them on the Fairlane stocker that I built but I cut grooves into them to look like dirt tires. I think they can be accurate for some builds but definitely could be changed out for smaller ones too. The fun thing about this type of car is how many different ways you can build them.
He builds the model as bock stock.
Modified stockers are, by far, my favorite to build.. fantastic job and wonderful video. FORD!
