I feel like Ezio and Rodrigo were pretty content to just leave each other alone and go on with their lives, In Ezio's eyes his job was done and he was happy retiring to the Villa for the rest of his life. Rodrigo was basically a broken shell of a man after AC2 and he probably wouldn't be a threat. If Cesare hadn't stuck his hand in the hornets nest Ezio probably never would've risen to the level of prominence, power and influence he did.
Love the vid, just a small thing: the reason Ezio needs a climb leap glove in brotherhood is because, as the doctor implies when you get to Rome, Ezio's starting to get too old to jump around like he used to. Combined with past injuries such as being stabbed by Rodrigo, shot twice, and thrown off a building, it's understandable that Ezio's not quite as nimble as he used to be. It gets even worse in Revelations, where I believe he needs the hookblade to make leaps previously possible with the glove.
A quick correction, ezio can do the climb leap in revelations from the start, the hook blade just makes it faster. But he does make a comment at the start, "ugh, this used to be so easy," which is one of my favorite Ezio moments
@@vientris True, but it didn't fit in the context of the story. AC 3 suffered this problem with a lot with it side content. I only required like 2 people and never used them. It would fit in Valhalla tho, but as Vikings, calling in and requiting Vikings.

Ezio being quick in combat in Brotherhood should be that way because he's supposed to be a baller by that point. I didn't complain when I played it the first time since it was his best time in life.
Yeah but it doesn't make for particularly interesting gameplay imo. You essentially just turn your brain off during combat as all you need to do is spam combos. Combat in AC2 at least had some challenge. I don't think I died once in combat during Brotherhood.
@@precariousworlds3029 if you like challenges, you're better off playing dark souls, Assassins creed appeals most to players who like the assassin fantasy and want to feel badass, challenge is not necessary for those people because they feel cool while one shotting every enemy anyway, you can't say it's bad or good because that aspect is all down to preference.

I honestly felt bad for Rodrigo here. We find out that he was not the cause of the Villa attack, Cesare was and he was actually scolding his son for his decisions. Losing to Ezio really humbled him.
my only problem with the lairs of romulus was that a lot of them had the time limit and i had to rush through them rather than being able to take my time and appreciate the set piece, the time limits werent crazy hard but you really couldnt take a break to look around
Acually that's not true. I'm replaying the game and I did 5 out of 6 and there was 1 time limited mission altho I know the last one is time limited too, to get 100%, so that's still 2 out of 6. Anyway you still can just take your time then replay the mission for 100%
@@ThatBoyAqua But are we gonna tell him that there are actual suspicions that Rodrigo actually died by being poisoned by Cesare with Cantarella? And we actually hear Lucrezia in game scolding a guard for not delivering this exact poison in time. Apparently Rodrigo's corpse rapidly decomposed and it was stated that it was unusually monstruos and disfigured.
I enjoyed how ACRv handled the "final boss." The actual battle is just a formality but the chase is blood-pumping, especially if you're going for full sync.
I always saw Brotherhood as the true ending of AC2. It was like Ubisoft needed a separate game to be able to squeeze all of Rome into the actual AC2 experience.
One thing that stands out is how immersive this game was (along with 2). You'd finish the game and the feeling, the atmosphere of the game would stick with you for your entire lifetime. Brotherhood is so underappreciated i truly think it's one of the best games ever made. Masterpiece, man ubisoft was such a great company why did they have to become so greedy
See what I did? I was insensitive and judgmental, I didn't think of being a little more chill and approachable, and I didn't think that I might hurt someone 's feelings. Hence the phrase "every comment is from a real person. "
I liked this game but one of the things I didn’t like about was when Ezio gotten the apple of Eden, I thought it was cool and all when I used but I thought that part of the game felt a bit rushed, it just time jumped a lot in that part for no reason, I also felt it was just a quick and easy way for them to get to the set piece for the boss fight.
Brotherhood is my favourite game out of the Desmond era. It had everything done really well, and I loved how badass we feal doing a perfect chainkill on a dozen guards. Also I think these kill animations looked the flashiest here in BH. The main story is a bit too short though, but the sidequests for the thieves, courtesans and mercenaries can help with that. One thing you didn't mention is the added multiplayer. Maybe you didn't like it. But for me, it was one of the most enjoyable multiplayer experience I've ever played. The short 10 minute bursts of fun each match were really fun. No matter if you lost or won, it was always great. I'm so sad it's gone.
I agree, but personally, i'd love to see something more long, either on main story or secondary things. Like I completed it in a month or so, and had no missions to entertain myself
Ac brotherhood is my favorite, because ac2 was my first ac, but brotherhood was ac 2 but a lot more polished The other characters looking older actually makes sense since ac2 takes place through almost 20 years and only ezio ages
The same poison that, once ingested, only made Cesare sick. However, forcing Rodrigo to sink his teeth in it was enough to cause his death?! Either I missed something or that scene's not only funny, but also doesn't make much sense.
@@alexbastos6960 Well, apple is squeezed out with juices when it forced onto human's teeth, the poison probably mixed with apple juices and dripped into Rodrigo's throat. Just an assumption of mine.
@@ivanlim3180 It does make sense, though. However, it doesn't explain how this poison takes Rodrigo's life almost instantly while Cesare, who actually swallows a mouthful of the apple, seems to feel no more than a stomachache of some sort. And that isn't even noticeable until later on, when Ezio retrieves the Piece of Eden.
One of the things I enjoyed most about ACB was the writing. The character-play between Ezio and many of his allies - particularly Bartholomeo, Machiavelli and Leonardo (certainly in the DLC) really fleshed out the story. The targets were often shown to be grotesque, decadent monsters deserving of a blade but the people you helped weren't always 'clean' either. The side missions were meaningful and fun (the Cristina missions are wonderfully done, especially) and there was much more uniqueness to the tomb/lair missions, and to the machine levels. There are some niggles - as you say, some of the 100% sync challenges are a pain (take no damage in the tank?!?) and I didn't enjoy how the story lurched forwards once you obtained the apple, before it jumped to Spain on the heels of Cesare. And the parkour was still frustrating if you weren't pinpoint accurate with where you're aiming a jump. The music also wasn't as good - but it was always going to be hard to top AC2.
Still to this day there is nothing cooler than raising your hand, closing your first and having a deadly rain of crossbow bolts come out of nowhere and kill the enemies around you, just the ultimate badass moment of the franchise. One of the few things that compared was raiding in Valhalla, sailing up with all your buddies, hushing the singing and everyone focusing in as you ram into the shore and charge up the beach into the fight, just a shame Valhalla wasn't the game it should of been.
Still one of all time favourite AC games. Neat balance between main storyline, present day sequences and engaging multiplayer. Amazing atmosphere of the city of Rome, full of mysteries to unfold and places to explore. Also fantastic soundtrack by Jesper Kyd. And actual plot progression... Overall, sweet, sweet memories when AC games were intriguing and magnetic
That Boy Aqua: "Ezio is Garry Sue. Never any consequences for mistakes." Ezio: Attacks Borgia, didn't finish his job, the town he built totally destroyed and his uncle was executed.
That's funny, because I started to play the Assassin's Creed franchise this February, and right now I play the 3. I loved AC2, but then when I played Brotherhood... that was completely awesome, and I have not been afraid to say that ACB>AC2. Of course i was disappointed by the fact that the main story is shorter, but other than that, everything else is just great : the money system, the combats, the Desmond Story (and when you play him in the present at night), etc. And Rome is such a wonderful city. So far, this episode is clearly my favourite of the franchise.
@@eliteballplacement6582 yeah that's what I heard, even from the angriest fans : "After Revelations, AC is shit... except Bkack Flag" And yeah apparently Origins is cool
I've recently done a playthrough of 2 and later this - Less was definitely more! Recruitment went grindtastically insane in Revelations - considering you could theoretically recruit and train up to 60-70 apprentices to fill up all locations
Rodrigo borgia dieing to a poison apple is a reference to the real story of him dying to food poisoning. Woulda been nice if Ezio could poison their food instead.
The movement in ac2 or rather the whole ezio trilogy is the best it's been in the series I think. Others are really auto mode and don't feel accurate. Sure unity has movement depth but it's so inaccurate that mastery doesn't feel as good as the ezio trilogy where it becomes like instinct when you master it neatly
@@apollojustice5338 - A little cheesy, but Unity was a good revenge story that also brought an Assassin and Templar to work together in similar fashion as to AC3 with Connor and Haytham. The Assassination missions were great and the multiple options you had to complete the Assassinations were brilliant as well. Very underrated game.
Personally, I like the chain killing, as Ezio, gets more powerful and becomes more confident in his abilities than it is a logical conclusion that he has the ability to kill without waiting for an attack.
The change in Character Age between AC2 and Brotherhood makes a lot of sense when you realise that from Sequence 11 to Sequence 14, 11 years pass, from 1488 to 1499 (of which in the original release is an unplayable time jump unless you own the 2 DLC sequences covering the Bonfire of the Vanities and the Forli occupation), and besides giving Ezio his final Goatee look ahead of Brotherhood, they used the same model base as 17 year old Ezio from Sequence 1 for the now 40 year old Ezio that had been fighting to take down the Templars all alone for 15ish years and trying to figure out Rodrigo's plan & find the Vault for the next 11. Brotherhood immediately bumps the year to 1500 once Ezio and Mario return to the Villa and the main majority of sequences in Rome take place in 1502-1503. The team were still getting used to the limitations of the Xbox 360 and PS3 and at the time of Brotherhood's release the Xbox 360 Slim and PS3 Slim were both recently released & expanded what graphical fidelity could be used while keeping 30fps Also, I hate to be the "uhm acksually" guy, but Rodrigo Borgia died of illness in history, and to reflect that, the Apple that Cesare force fed to him was poisoned. Sure, they could have had Ezio poison both Cesare and Rodrigo so they both fall ill and Cesare recovers as he did in real life, but I feel like it would have done Ezio a disservice to come so close, as well as going out of his way to punish Rodrigo after he gave up and spared him at the end of AC2.
For most fun, I'd go with brotherhood and black flag. For most complete and satisfying experience 1 and 2, 2 was improved in almost every way on one however may not impress people because they are showing their age. Black flag is where the series started losing its identity the most, but it got a pass for being a fun adventure. Unity improved in terms of visuals, parkour, npc count, different assassination options, had good combat and stealth but was ultimately hurt by bugs and an uninteresting narrative. Origins onwards sees most identity and what made the series unique almost completely stripped away
Huh, weird, I played this game a lot back when it came out and I never knew you could call an arrow attack from the assassin's. I was always sending most of them on missions to get money lol
If you always use the most efficient way to play the game, you'll often rob yourself of the best experience you could have by not playing in the way you find most *fun.* Obviously making these one and the same is exceptionally harmonious game design, but it's up to you not to drain the life out of every game by optimizing your playstyle to the highest degree. You've shown that you're capable of that with combat, so now try the same with parkour. Try to scale every building without using free climbing at all and see what kind of cool maneuvers you can pull off Brotherhood suffered from serious memory limitations, with terrible pop in on consoles that meant you couldn't see enemy patrols until you are already on top of them. This is why horses weren't allowed to sprint in most maps, as moving that fast would overstress the engine and make it impossible to render things fast enough. Fortunately The Ezio Collection version allows you sprint if you install it to an SSD, which I highly recommend since I still experienced significant pop in issues This one took me a while to figure out, but combo fighting has a lot more to it than just block breaking. As far as I can tell, each weapon has a certain number of hits that will initiate an instant kill (except against bosses), but all of those hits have to be well timed combo hits. You can tell you messed it up and your combo has reset when Ezio pulls back and repeats his first attack animation. This was tutorialized in an optional fighting ring challenge, and is present in both AC2 and Brotherhood, bit it felt more consistent in Brotherhood to me. Once you get the hang of it, you don't need chain kills anymore. Playing without it actually opens up a lot of depth with block breaking either through the kick or by chaining together combos and counters, at the cost of the very useful riposte maneuver from AC2 I'm sorry to say that if you didn't use the Assassin recruits for stealth... you didn't use the Assassin recruits. Depending on how much time you spend on them, they can turn two patrols of four from a giant brawl into minor inconvenience. You can also just point them at a group as you walk by without so much as approaching to help and they'll dispatch them all on their own, which you'll be happy to find out if very time efficient. Other additions to stealth you missed were the multiple throwing knife move, capable of removing entire patrols instantly at the cost of a lot of ammo and somewhat janky aiming controls, the poison dart, capable of both inducing chaos in groups from a distance and blinding a target for five seconds even if he's already detected you for a free assassination, and throwable smoke bombs, who's utility is immediately obvious if you've ever played Unity
Also, there is a cool mechanic where if you chain kill, hold the button towards two enemies whole you had a projectile weapon, you can essentially have a cool triple kill animation that is quite an eyecandy, try it with the brutus knife
Personally I thought ac2’s story was better than all the other ezio games. It was beautiful seeing ezios character development and how he changed in motives and emotion to his 40s. The characters were great although most stayed in the sequels the introductions of them were great. By the time I finished it I looked all the way back to the first sequence and was just blown away because it really did feel like the death of half his family was so long ago%
Personally I prefer the slower parkour because scaling a building by hand is incredibly difficult and it makes sense that it would be a struggle even to someone as talented as Ezio. I take the slowness and deliberateness of it as a way of showing the amount of effort he has to exert and getting rid of that would likely just make it seem like he’s not even trying
Just a bit of info for the boss. Hitting Cesare with a chain kill doesn’t kill him but will take a chunk of health off. You can also absolutely annihilate the little shit with your gun
I was doing a playthrough last year and then my save got corrupted, i had just killed The Banker. Then i downloaded a save that stopped at that point and then i rage quit. Some people really don't know how to play Assassin's Creed in general, up to that point i had done three Cristina memories, all of Leonardo's Machines missions, most of the Guild's missions, unlocked every shop i encountered and the guy i downloaded the save didn't even buy the crossbow. I never had good memories with Brotherhood but i still like the game. Not my favorite because the the last mission rushes a lot of things to keep up with historical events, but it's great. Ezio Trilogy games has something they can never regreate nowadays
AC2 was my favourite Assassin's Creed until I tried it again recently. The combat felt so simple and boring. The parkour was really slow and clumsy. Not saying that I hate the game but I admit the fact that it had flaws which I didn't notice the first time.
I subscribed. Optional Objectives: Yes this is the first game in the series to have them. But it's stupid where once you fail the objective it saves like it's a checkpoint but when successfully do the objective it only saves after you complete the mission which makes no sense to me. (Naval canon) for example "Open one of the first three gates". But you have to complete the mission in order for the game to say full synchronization. (Hell on wheels) for example "Do not get hurt once in the tank" (face palm) First of all: You're in a "tank" but you can't get touched once? Second: You can't get just hit and die on purpose so you can respawn at a checkpoint before a moment you got hit because it literally saves you getting hit and when you go back to that checkpoint the game say you still got hit so it makes no sense. Hope Revelations is better.
@@natestadler2352 My first PS3 game and I 100% AC III so it's not easy going to AC II but still thanks for the warning. I just started playing PS4 Brotherhood and now on sequence v. (Not liking it but still gotta get the uplay coins)
Just bought a hard copy and started playing it again for the nostalgia. Having a crew of assassins that you can call upon is legit the coolest feature to ever be implemented. Sad they’ve never redone it.
24:42 Actually, no you really didn't. You spend sequence 3 with him and then he never comes back again until the end of sequence 11. He's barely in AC2 and Brotherhood's opening does a fantastic job of smoothing over this fact by putting his relationship with Ezio front and centre, allowing the actors to play off each other, having him be the one Ezio entrusts with the Apple, him being the voice of reason back Ezio in the villa discussion. It all builds this image of Mario that straight up wasn't in the previous game.
As far as I can recall, the reason Ezio needed a glove to do his super leaps was (in story) that he was getting old and could no longer do it on his own. It's possible the glove simply gave him a better grip. As far as the attack on Mario's villa: It wasn't the sparing of Rodrigo that led to it but the attack of Ezio on him in Rome before he could spare his life. Later in the game when Caesare screams at Rodrigo that his forces were crippled and questions whether Rodrigo had the French commander killed, Rodrigo retorts with "What reason could I have to kill him? It was the assassins!" And as this conversation continues, Rodrigo mentiones that he specifically told Caesare to NOT attack the villa, thus making his downfall one of his own doing.
I’m really disappointed in Ubisofts recent games. They’re trying to turn every game into an RPG. They have the Division, Breakpoint, and AC as RPGs. I wouldn’t be surprised if whenever there’s a new Splinter Cell that that’s going to be an RPG as well
I can understand why they put the climbing behind a pay wall. Ezio is 40 years old in this game when it starts. He’s at the peak of his prime. And right at the start he suffers a gun shot wound so bad the armor designs basically emphasize it. It’s 1500, that kind of thing can’t heal like it does today. So I can understand why they have Leonardo make him gloves to improve his climbing. It works story wise and shows Ezio recovering his abilities and preparing to take back Rome.
The mechanics of revelation was better e.g. The combat and parkour but i personally felt the story lacked some more side characters or more time spent with one's already in the game e.g. Yusuf was really cool and we should've got more time with him
The combat in Bh is so smooth. You have to dodge, counter, time your attacks and strategically choose wich enemies to do when in a chain. A spear guard can not always be chain killed, so you have to use a throwing knofe or gun, and a lot of times guards decide to attack at the same time as you forcing you to have to react quickly and perform a dodge to continue the kill chain. Playing BF, I really disliked the combat, as the gun was too OP, and all other weapons were just boring to use, forcing you to mindlessly mash buttons, without guards interrupting your attacks and without strategy to perform killchains. The worst part was, Kill chains were not even possible, and the combat felt slow and tedious. There were only really 3 types of enemies, and the only difference between fighting them is wich button to press. In BH, each different enemy requires completely different tactics, and prioritizing what enemies to kill when and predicting who would do what was engaging and fun. AC BF had amazing ship battles, but the hand to hand combat was never as fun or engaging as BH.
I have to agree with not enjoying the combat. What broke the immersion for me were the performance issues the PC port had. It made everything so slow. What's more was how the double kills were removed or how there weren't any other weapon types to take the enemy down. In AC3, we had Blunt, Heavy, Normal and Small weapons. And it felt fun to BRUTALIZE guards using the double counters. In this game we only had dual swords. The combat doesn't seem to change in Rogue either. The other sword was replaced with a knife, but they have the same animations as BF.
What Brotherhood's combat needed was more Arkham influence. Enemy variety needed to play a stronger role. To force you to use different attacks for each one. The awesomeness of the chain kill is a good incentive, but it needed more. In Arkham, your combo is recorded so you know how cool the shit you're pulling off is. You get bonuses like takedowns and stronger attacks the greater your combo and can choose which to employ based on your scenario and on what you think you need. It's easy to look like a badass with standard enemies but the work it takes with more enemy numbers and variety makes that feeling even stronger.
I love almost every AC game (except Odyssey) . But damn was there something about Brotherhood that made love it so much more, I loved the story, characters, mechanics, customization even the graphics as outdated they are still seem amazing. I remember spending countless days worth of hours playing just running along roof tops and killing guards like a badass.
I think so too. So many people seem to hate revelations because of the den defense and other things like that that are hardly used at all in the game. ACRevelations has a fantastic story and combines the story of Altair ezio and desmond in such a beautiful way.
@@chancechamberlain1583 the den defense is always mentioned in reviews and I really don't get why. Because the only time i played the den defense Thing was the tutorial and I finished the game before playing it again

Hey! It's been one year, but if you have a console or a decent pc, you should buy the ezio collection. It's an accessible price(I think at least) and also comes with the three most beloved classic games
Fun fact if you kick a boss enough times so he falls to the ground as soon as he stands you can put him in an endless loop if his back is against a wall and make quick work of him in a matter of seconds:)(In both Ac 2 and brotherhood).
I loved AC Brotherhood because of its simplicity. The side content wasn’t overwhelming unlike in other games like Unity. In Unity I enjoyed the combat so much but I quickly felt burned out and unmotivated to finish the game simply because there were way too many fucking collectibles and side content in every city block. To this day I have not finished any of the more recent AC games because I just always felt so unsatisfied and overwhelmed because no matter how any missions I do, 20 others pop up and take their place.

Yeah, same. I always did an explorer run first and then did a speedrun for 100% synch
Acually that's not true. I'm replaying the game and I did 5 out of 6 and there was 1 time limited mission altho I know the last one is time limited too, to get 100%, so that's still 2 out of 6. Anyway you still can just take your time then replay the mission for 100%
Worst thing is that the game adds a checkpoint if you fall the time limit
Sooo... Are we gonna tell him the Apple Rodrigo died by was poisoned? ;-;
don't tell him
@@ThatBoyAqua But are we gonna tell him that there are actual suspicions that Rodrigo actually died by being poisoned by Cesare with Cantarella? And we actually hear Lucrezia in game scolding a guard for not delivering this exact poison in time. Apparently Rodrigo's corpse rapidly decomposed and it was stated that it was unusually monstruos and disfigured.

I like that you’re making a Video on all the AC games, kinda like Luke Stephens
And you have great perspectives too
And he's not full of himself either lol
The best ac game for me it refined everything in ac2 and made new changes

Hey Aqua I think the apple was poisoned. That’s why he died from that. Great video!
It was but its still pretty funny
@@alexbastos6960 Probably it's because he was just older than Cesare, with a more fragile health
Can’t wait for you to cover the other AC games!

AC gatekeepers: REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
They look older because towards the end of AC2, Ezio says it’s been ten years since his adventure began.
It is 20 years actually
Rodrigo borgia dieing to a poison apple is a reference to the real story of him dying to food poisoning. Woulda been nice if Ezio could poison their food instead.
That would've been GREAT
The movement in ac2 or rather the whole ezio trilogy is the best it's been in the series I think. Others are really auto mode and don't feel accurate. Sure unity has movement depth but it's so inaccurate that mastery doesn't feel as good as the ezio trilogy where it becomes like instinct when you master it neatly
Parkour in all those games are fine imo, it just takes a lot of skill

The team were still getting used to the limitations of the Xbox 360 and PS3 and at the time of Brotherhood's release the Xbox 360 Slim and PS3 Slim were both recently released & expanded what graphical fidelity could be used while keeping 30fps
Also, I hate to be the "uhm acksually" guy, but Rodrigo Borgia died of illness in history, and to reflect that, the Apple that Cesare force fed to him was poisoned.
Bruh it told you in game
If you always use the most efficient way to play the game, you'll often rob yourself of the best experience you could have by not playing in the way you find most *fun.* Obviously making these one and the same is exceptionally harmonious game design, but it's up to you not to drain the life out of every game by optimizing your playstyle to the highest degree. You've shown that you're capable of that with combat, so now try the same with parkour. Try to scale every building without using free climbing at all and see what kind of cool maneuvers you can pull off
Brotherhood suffered from serious memory limitations, with terrible pop in on consoles that meant you couldn't see enemy patrols until you are already on top of them. This is why horses weren't allowed to sprint in most maps, as moving that fast would overstress the engine and make it impossible to render things fast enough. Fortunately The Ezio Collection version allows you sprint if you install it to an SSD, which I highly recommend since I still experienced significant pop in issues
This one took me a while to figure out, but combo fighting has a lot more to it than just block breaking. Playing without it actually opens up a lot of depth with block breaking either through the kick or by chaining together combos and counters, at the cost of the very useful riposte maneuver from AC2
I'm sorry to say that if you didn't use the Assassin recruits for stealth... you didn't use the Assassin recruits.
Amazing analysis, but there is more. Like using Cortasan to poison gurads,or using thief to lure. And best is to use horse for super blend
NGL that nord VPN transition was slick and deserves appreciation
Also, there is a cool mechanic where if you chain kill, hold the button towards two enemies whole you had a projectile weapon, you can essentially have a cool triple kill animation that is quite an eyecandy, try it with the brutus knife
They actually have Ezio say something about his back the first time you try to do the upward ledge jump.
I'm still playing this game, I can finally play it as I just bought a very low end laptop...but hey, at least I can play 20fps at low settings 😂
Just a bit of info for the boss. Hitting Cesare with a chain kill doesn’t kill him but will take a chunk of health off. You can also absolutely annihilate the little shit with your gun
Or crossbow, that shit is op
The apple he killed Rodrigo with was a poisoned apple that Rodrigo was hoping Cesaere would fully consume to kill him via poison
I've always liked Brotherhood more for that reason, since it's essentially 2 but better.
Combat in ac2 actually has depth and is quite enjoyable if you learn all tricks and in Parkour if you use ejects it will become faster
That's not what he's saying dumbass
I subscribed.
Optional Objectives: Yes this is the first game in the series to have them.
But it's stupid where once you fail the objective it saves like it's a checkpoint but when successfully do the objective it only saves after you complete the mission which makes no sense to me.
(Naval canon) for example
"Open one of the first three gates". But you have to complete the mission in order for the game to say full synchronization.
(Hell on wheels) for example
"Do not get hurt once in the tank" (face palm)
First of all: You're in a "tank" but you can't get touched once?
Second: You can't get just hit and die on purpose so you can respawn at a checkpoint before a moment you got hit because it literally saves you getting hit and when you go back to that checkpoint the game say you still got hit so it makes no sense.
Hope Revelations is better.
Revelations has those same problems, 3 fixes them, but also adds several optional objectives for each mission

Just bought a hard copy and started playing it again for the nostalgia. Having a crew of assassins that you can call upon is legit the coolest feature to ever be implemented. Sad they’ve never redone it.
I love AC 2 and 3 becuase of the architecture, clothing design, and color palette, compared to the colorless AC1.
Best AC game
Gameplay: Brotherhood
Story: II
I wouldn’t be surprised if whenever there’s a new Splinter Cell that that’s going to be an RPG as well
Hearing you talk about certain abilities being held behind a paywall reminds me of Unity
brotherhood is my second favourite behind black flag
Black Dlag was GGRRREEAT!

Waiting for AC: Revelations essay now. Loved that game. Loved that ending. Loved how they sent off Ezio into the sunset!
Playing BF*
I remember spending countless days worth of hours playing just running along roof tops and killing guards like a badass.

just thinking about how amazing this game will forever be
I loved AC Brotherhood because of its simplicity. Simple indeed is sometimes more.
