This is a well summed up video regarding general health of car and engine. All issues are portrayed well and made easy to understand in a way I've never understood before. Great video. Keep up the great work and spreading the knowledge
one thing for sure when I start my car the next two days it will be in the teens below zero, and I will let the engine idle for at least ten minutes before I leave to go to work
@@HuyTran-fu8nvTHERE IS NO SUCH THING AS LIFETIME FLUIDS NO FLUID LAST THAT LONG!!!!...... And even though cars run synthetic oil you do not go 7 to 10000 me on an oil change if you want your car to last..... I drive Hondas and Toyotas which are some of the most reliable cars in the world and I still do my oil change 3 to 4000 miles at the most!!!!!! People can say oh you don't have to do with that you don't have to do your oil change that often with this new synthetic oil that is not true not if you want your engine to last for years I've made my cars last with the original motor and transmission over 450,000 MI on multiple cars because I cut the manufacturer's recommendations in half For example Honda and Toyota maintenance light on their newer cars is set for 75 me so when I get down to about 60% that's when I know it's time to change the oil because it's been about 3 to 4000 miles
Running the car low on fuel dont kill your fuel pump.only certain brand like chevy has that issue for the most part.thats a defect from the manufacturer. 2 of my mazda cars has over 400k on the factory fuel pump.most Japanese cars don't have that issue. 2nd cars don't need to be warm up to operating temperature, before driving.after couple of minutes (depends on how cold it is),the vehicle can be driven..the key is to not drive the car hard, cruise until it reaches operating temperature
Thank you, well said. I've heard 30 seconds to a minute warm up but I personally would give it a bit more than that in the cold winter of the north. Like you said a few minutes, and too much idling is bad.
whether or not driving on low fuel hurts your fuel pump (I believe it does because that fuel actually helps to cool the pump) the idea of “saving money” makes absolutely no sense unless you’re driving very infrequently. if you’re using your car on a regular basis, you’re going to need the fuel anyway so letting it go to “E” doesn’t “save” you anything.🤔
Thanks for the information, thanks for taking the time out of your day to post this video. PEOPLE, take this advice please! I am a novice mechanic but everyday I learn more and more working on cars that were mistreated or not maintained properly and it sucks to see how much they gotta pay to have it fixed.
I rarely let my gas tank go below half tank, I always get my oil changed b 5000 miles and rarely go over that and it will only be less than 100 miles over

Never follow the manufacturer recommendations for oil change intervals. Always half the manufacturer recommend interval for all fluid maintenance.
how about "lifetime" fluids?

You got right , 3,000 miles oil gets changed
Only way to warm up your engine is to drive it not idle it.

Personally whoever is right but I won't take chances and run it into the low gas light as much, around a quarter tank is fine I'm sure.

THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS A RUSE TO GET YOU TO DO EMISSION CHECK
No its not lol
What car is getting a $50 oil change nowadays
Yeah, not even close...
bring your own oil and filter to any oil change place. They will charge you no more than $50 to do it for you.

Putting on s sideshow will ruin your entire car
Good luck in fixing the check engine light itself to start with
Even better start engine put it in drive brake on lower r.p.m let it run for 2 min then put it in park let run 3 min
why would anyone change gears while the vehicle is moving? Where did that stupid idea even come from?
Why show an electric toaster on wheels

My engine light turns on one day and turns off the next day
One time my wife didn't tighten the gas cap cause it was cold and it didn't cost anything but time

None of the drivers in this video are wearing seatbelts....not too educational as a vid..
