I have thumbed past many a 350/370z listing on Central due to their extremely low clearance. My ramp body on the truck doesn't offer the same clearance and load angle as your trailer, thus I choose to simply avoid the super low cars as they aren't worth the risk of damage and/or insurance claims. That said, you nailed the load - always keep those 1x6 boards and other random lumber pieces to assist with odd loads as you never know when you might need them. Also as you suggested, the winch option can sometimes be better as it allows you the constant visibility as you load, and improves the clearance as your 200+ pound body isn't sitting in the seat, but rather outside. That can sometimes be an inch of clearance reduction just by sitting inside while loading/unloading! Good stuff Jason... ride safe.
@@hotshothaulers hey, did you ever weight approximate weight on rear axles of truck when trailer completely loaded? Im sure it’s over limit and dot violation
I’m not referring to this guy I’m just talking about tow truck drivers in general and the lack of experience towing lowered cars it’s like don’t bitch figure it out and be respectful to the customer I take pride in helping people with challenging things at work it’s like do your job and be nice about it god damn it I get pissed about this shit
@@hotshothaulers I know you said you paid $7200 out the door but my math is giving me $8500, that's 8ft ramps,9k winch, spare tire and rim....isn't that all what you have?

Wish I would have had you loading my car.. people tore mine halfway up the ramp no hesitation and almost took the bumper off.. wound up giving up.
