      CHYKKO I think these guys should see how BIG some of these auction houses really are and how long it takes to walk, find, and load these cars in 105 plus temperatures!! Only some auction houses have taxis the rest you gotta hoof it. I like going Manheim in Las Vegas, Nevada. Because the taxi drivers help me find my cars a HUGE time saver!!

      Duku that's nice that you're gonna to start your own business, I'm happy for you buddy, about the trailer this one on the video is a 2017 model which is a bit better than years before that were having problems with the weldings and Axles and staff like that, I haven't had any problems with the welds but I did change one of the axles, the other two are still ok at 100k miles, my advice is to get the one like mine with heavy mesh and not with the Chinese tires, don't replace tires with nothing less than hancocks tires, grease your axles regularly and just keep it up so you wont have any problems, other than that the bigger the truck the better and the more cars you can haul the better. Get a quote on the insurance before you buy your equipments, Insurance down payment is very expensive especially for beginner...

      There will always be issues when you're pulling a heavy load, no matter what truck you pulling it with, but surprisingly for the last two years and 105k miles has only been a few things like fuel pump twice, breaks, new sets of batteries, front tires wearing out unevenly all the time. Other than that I really love the truck

      Jrverdzco85, thanks buddy, I really appreciate the comment, The F-350 it's pulling it super nice up the hills with full loads, this 6.7 power stroke it's not joking when it comes to pulling, I really have to say that I'm very glad to have chosen the Ford over the Dodge it's just so much differences between the two that the Ford it's definitely worth the money. But as far as doing the job I believe that both can handle it with no problems at all its just a matter of preference.

    • @jrverdzco85
      @jrverdzco85 7 лет назад +1

      Right on man. I really like the ford, but that thing is pricey. I'll probably end up with a Ram 3500. Hopefully I'll be running by mid year. I been looking at trailers like yours and the Ez 4 as well.

    • @chykko5519
      @chykko5519  7 лет назад

      jrverdzco85 The Doge will do just fine, you can get the 3500, 4500 or 5500 but if you're doing long distance you may want to consider something with a bed. I'm really looking in getting the Freightliner M2 just for the fact that I travel long distances and motels are a bit expensive, as far as the Mini 4 or 5 you may want to get the 5, the more cars the more income. Check Ebay, they have a few almost new there for a lot less than getting it from kaufman.

    • @chykko5519
      @chykko5519  7 лет назад

      It depends on the size of the sleeper, you don't have that much room to play with, the sleeper part it's the reason I think Ford, Dodge and any other dually are not the right truck for this job if you're doing long distance but if you're only traveling like 300 miles or so then it's fine if you don't mind sleeping in the back seat.

    Nice video but you don't need cdl to drive dually

      Conscious Trucking logistics Awake, thanks for the comment. You don't need a CDL to drive a dually as long as you're using it as your personal vehicle but the minute you connected to this trailer it becomes commercial, due to the weight and length. I've seen many drivers on the scale that have to wait for a CDL Driver to drive their truck home because the highway patrol puts then out of service right on the scales, not to mention the ticket it's not small, another thing too now the insurances know about this and many of them won't even tell you until you give them a big deposit on it to start your policy, then after a month or so they will send you a letter of cancellation due to none cdl, It happened to my neighbor that knew it all and didn't followed my advice with his car license, he ended up loosing around $6k not to mention everything else like the truck and trailer investment and all.

      CHYKKO LAS VEGAS CDL is needed when the combined GVWR/weight is over 26k. i been doing it for two years without CDL 8 inspections and no tickets. those ppl u see at the scale getting suspended and waiting on someone with a cdl are either over weight/26k or the vehicle and trailer gvwr when added together it sub-pass the 26k mark..

      Freida Tavarez, you've been lucky, that's a good thing and I hope you never get taking out of service for something that you knew. We all make decisions and we have to risk it sometimes and live with the consequences. I don't recommend anyone to do it without a CDL. Good luck to everyone

      The trailer can't be over 10000 gvwr. If it is you need a cdl

      In the beginning to start you may get a broker, then you build a strong relationship with your clients, become their reliable sources of transportation so they may call you for more. It's harder than you think in the beginning but don't give up, it may get better like any other business if you put the time and effort my friend!
