the ramps go on the top deck and you lift it up some to keep the front end from hitting you should only load your way if you are trying to squeeze something on the lift gate and its tires are on top of the ramps
Yes you need a CDL license. Because you are getting paid to transport. You're in the commercial industry as well as the total combined weight capacity of your truck, trailer and cargo weight total, you are required to have a CDL license.
Do you need some training to start car hauling with a pickup truck? Like how did you start? straight went and bought a truck or you went through some training? Thanks
Insurance companies will definitely ask you for experience, you need as much training as you can get, be very careful with the cars not to damage it. But if I was you yeah it's best to get training. I started with 8 years of towing experience and even that I damage a few cars here and there

Get a quote on the insurance before you buy your equipments, Insurance down payment is very expensive especially for beginner...
There will always be issues when you're pulling a heavy load, no matter what truck you pulling it with, but surprisingly for the last two years and 105k miles has only been a few things like fuel pump twice, breaks, new sets of batteries, front tires wearing out unevenly all the time. Other than that I really love the truck

jrverdzco85 The Doge will do just fine, you can get the 3500, 4500 or 5500 but if you're doing long distance you may want to consider something with a bed.
