Josh, I'm speechless at how knowledgeable you are and how easily you present information. I recently purchased one heat press and immediately returned it. I think my husband really missed the features you're explaining so well right now, so he bought me a different one for Christmas. It certainly seems to lack the fun you're having! I wish I could jump through my screen and come play with yours! I can see the necessesity in having two sizes of hat presses -- the opportunities seem endless! However, from a price standpoint, your tee-shirt press and hat press combined, would make a pretty pricey toy, since, at this point, that's what it is. But, I sure like yours better! If one doesn't use CAD, can you explain a bit more about applying HTV from a cutting machine? I'm extremely grateful to have found your channel, mine still may be going back. AGAIN.
I always love to buy for my brothers designs in sets with matching ball caps, pair of sneakers, and sweats or T-shirt. It looks more classy when won in sets.
Hi Barbara, you can actually view the MAXX heat press here www.stahls.com/maxx-clam-heat-press and even schedule a live demo where one of our sales reps can walk you through the basic in/outs of this machine.
@@SHVisuals14 I just bought a hat press from stalls waiting for it to be delivered and I'll start doing videos on it so stay tuned. Also going to buy an embroidery machine to embroider hats.
What type of hat heat press are you using? Also what type of htv? Patches work great, but we've had success with htv as well, such as Flock II, and Silicone 200.
Stahls' TV thank you. I want to start a small business doing tees and hats. I have watched your business video, just wondering how does one get a business name, license and start
You mentioned gang running designs on a screen-printed transfer sheet. If a client only wants a small run of hats like 3-4 hats instead of a minimum of a dozen or more, we usually have to turn them away or send them to a swap meet where they can get those small runs. Your screen print method looks like we could start offering these clients that service now instead of turning them away. The embroidery companies out there in Los Angeles only start with a dozen minimum and that's why I could never do small orders. How would we get those screen printed transfers and does your company make them/print them and are their any minimums we need to purchase?
All of Stahls' screen printed transfers are made by Transfer Express which is another Stahls' company. There is a minimum order of 5 sheets. You can find out more at transferexpress.com
using the hotronix fusion, I keep getting scorch marks on plastisol transfers like this - 50/50 hoodies. What brand are you using and what temp. I'm ruining hoodies from scorch marks
If the garment is scorching you may want to use a different transfer that applies at a lower temperature. Goof Proof applies at 365 degrees which may be too much for the garment to handle.
If you'd like to do inkjet transfers you can visit transferpaperexperts.com or if you'd like screen printed transfers you can visit transferexpress.com
Hiding the seams the press left in that hat, how about you have a video addressing the seams left in the hats. What is this not a design change for be able to do all hats.
