worked exactly for us, thanks! only one thing to add for new mechanics: when you put the lock mechanism back in, remember to put the little plastic plunger from the OUTSIDE door handle back over the little lever on the mechanism. Otherwise, the door will work fine from the inside but of course is not connected to the outside door handle. You might not notice the little plunger when you take out the lock mechanism because it is hidden behind the metal door panel, unless you get up close to the access hole and peer inside, which you probably will not do, since you can just reach inside and grab the door lock, not even realizing that there is a little plastic plunger for the outside handle.
