wow sounds great! Do you know whether or not the 2018 KIA models comes with features such as blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, rear sonar assist for parking?
Thank you very much - there are hardly any reviews of this car. Especially thanks for reviewing the base model, which is what I, and most people would probably be buying.
I HATE it when car mags only review the top trim and ignore all the other trim levels, considering those top trims are the LEAST likely to be leased and/or bought by the average consumer.
With the limited time I have gotten to drive these, just picking up customers from body shops, or picking up the cars when they’ve been dropped off, I like them. I haven’t been able to take one home yet as I can’t seem to keep them around long enough to. They go out almost as fast as they come in. It’s one of the last of the naturally aspirated engines, so I’m happy about that.

@@ItsLuwee My 2018 Optima had to have a part on the engine replaced after finding out it wasn't needing a new engine. While you were cycling through the menu options in the LCD display between the speedo and tach, I noticed that the tire pressure was set to the mid to upper 40s. I'm guessing you might have driven the car before you filmed that part, but if the tires were cold, those tire pressures were way too high and therefore would affect the ride, handling, and snow traction. Your impressions of the car's ride and handling could be negatively affected by this. Not a criticism, just wanted to let you know.
I had not noticed that. And you make a really good point, I'm definitely going to check this / consider it in the future. Thank you! This was super helpful.
In Australia they only have two trim levels, the standard with the 2.4 GDI or the GT 2.0l Turbo. I purchased the GT a week ago and it’s a great car, plenty of acceleration when you need it but it appears the Australian version has a number of extra features over the US version.
Yeah, I drove one yesterday and it was very comfortable. I had my dad sit on the backseat to make sure it's comfortable for him (big guy) and he said there was a lot of space and it was comfy
