  • All front covers are not perfect. The alignment can be off. Center the cover on the crankshaft using the damper

    I've heard the 440 Source and another brand have this issue... nice catch, Pete.. I like the factory covers when it's not an issue..

    Any place that had paper gaskets on a Mopar engine, I use Rolls-Royce sealant called Hylomar. Way better that silicone...it's messy, but it keeps the paper gaskets moist, and not drying out and cracking literally for years
