I was looking at them using legs and I was thinking yes that’s how I’ll be climbing walls so easy now until I see midge at the end and I new that was going to be me when I’m doing it
Thanks for posting. It was super helpful. I've never climbed anything in my life, not even as a kid (was too afraid) although I've been wanting to learn. This has always been a feat I want to accomplish. Your video explained it very well. Most helpful video I've come across
14 years old getting into ocr, helped a whole lot, did mud monsters run this year which was my first race ever and couldnt do the walls, found this and i was able to grasp it pretty quick
@3:12 I've tried doing that before, to give my brother a boost up a wall. But always end up with my fingers falling apart, from the weight. Is there an easier way, do I need to do strength training (for hands/fingers), or is it dependent on the boost-ees weight?
And then both of you learn climb ups or at least the lvl1 climb up and you don’t have to watch the whole video ofc: m.ruclips.net/video/ZFH-zD3TloA/видео.html Sat//07/10/2021 at 12:24 EDT2
Bearded man is bearded and wise. For low walls I've done both the muscle up, simple jump and and the leg up technique. The leg up technique is by far the least effort.
How tall is the second wall and how tall is midge? As a female I don't have the upper body strength to do a pull up like that. What's an easier technique. Anyone have any advise on techniques.
recently i took an obastacle course against same age, same body sized oppenents. i saw them use this technique and iused the parkour wall run up. i just destroyed them. it was no contest
Frfr I would just do a climb up with my nipples over the wall because I can only do phase 2 on a real brick wall with no overgrip, but these narrow plywood walls are free, plus I would just flick up onto the first one because it’s so low and then do precisions, strides, cranes, flick up position landings, or arm jumps across. I went on an obstacle course with something like this in it and i just climbed the first one and jump between them. I almost broke my right ankle. I still got first place thought
First of all, why would you kick or even swing your legs over the wall? Second of all, why would you do a muscle up when you can just put your feet onto the wall, and third of all, that’s LITERALLY NOT EVEN A CLIMB UP because the walls are NARROW AF, SO THERE’S AN OVER GRIP, meaning that even if you can’t do climb ups on a real wall, you can definitely at least get your nipples over the wall on these walls. Also, you flick up at the end or at least step up, plus those are so close that you can just arm jump, waist jump, crane, stride, or precision across.
Ikrfr even pseudo traceurs or traceurs who didn’t even start learning climb ups yet would cringe because at least do the elbow technique and step up with a level 1 “climb up”, but those walls are narrow anyways, so the overgrip makes climb ups free, the walls are also low and you don’t even have to do a whole entire climb up from a cat hang, plus you could plyo, stride, arm jump, crane, or land in the flick up position to get across from one wall to the next as they’re that close to each other. Sat/07/10/2021 at 12:40 EDT2
You just don’t go onto your cock and balls, but just do an actual climb up WITH THE FLICK UP, and if it’s a real wall with no overgrip for cheating, then at least lvl1 with doing a pull up, putting your elbows on the wall, dipping up, and stepping up, but more like just learn climb ups. And you don’t have to watch the whole climb up tutorial ofc: m.ruclips.net/video/ZFH-zD3TloA/видео.html Sat/07/10/2021 at 12:28 EDT2
To all the parkour type haters commenting negatively on this vid, quite often when you need to get over these kind of obstacles in a mud run endurance type event, you are already totally fcked, after miles of running and crawling through rivers, thick mud, up ridiculous hills, etc. the wall run up parkour way is cool but quite energy sapping and early in a long tiring event may work, but these events can really drain you so this advice is good for real world non athletes to save a bit of energy!
You actually have a point there and I can see why they use that technique, besides walls are not that high so you wouldn't need to do a wall run you would just need to do a top up. which if done right can get you off the wall pretty quickly, but that is tiring too.
How to climb ober wall and show in the same wall that u are weak. Wall climbing was a thing in military to climb about actuall walls. If u allready need these noob techniques on this low of a wall learn good pull ups and muscle up.

Paul Johnson is right I'm 5'2 and a 10 foot wall is nothing for parkour just use your momentum push up the wall throw your arms up and climb very easy maybe a 11 foot wall wended a two step but I'm short so
@@vapecat5830 These walls are a lot shorter than max reach and have an over grip anyways, plus they’re so close that you can just arm jump, waist jump, crane jump, stride, or precision jump across them.
Thank you Midge for showing your struggle! Kudos. I just found these videos, and I am loving them.
3:50 onwards was absolutely brilliant
Hahahahah! That's so funny!
OMG! You made it look so much more effortless than I have ever done on a taller wall. Thanks for the tips 😀
Thank you for this video! Went right over an 8 ft wall first time thanks to the leg technique!!

Doing tough viking on saturday. For me, tips like the knee thing is gold.
Run , Jump , strong press up , swing left leg up , another strong press up and over .
This was so helpful before my recent ocr race, thank you!

great moment when she made it ,really inspiring to will power.
2:41 "sorry.." :)
That was a good find.
Sowwy :(
I could use this technique if I'm too tired to execute the Parkour wall climb pretty useful
Love these videos! Nice jamming music! AROO!!
Excellent, helpful video. I appreciate it a LOT!
this is a good explanation for beginners
what if the width of the wall is more,
if you can't lock your knee and grip is loose.
nice training video, thanks for sharing
What I do is I push up off the wall and then I throw myself over and roll to keep momentum
@3:12

Very good advice. Walls are my weakness, but this will help

Fantastic!!

You can kong vault of of the first obstacle
Or kong onto it so that you can just do precisions across the other 2

thanks man locked myself out my house collectubg pizza. Just had to climb over my side gate you just saved me
Lovely

Plus if you muscle up you can kick your legs over and clear the wall faster

Looks so easy when you do it...
No it looks like they don’t know how to do it, and it’s literally free because of the overgrip
Hi
a 3 foot wall wouldn't be so bad to get over?
Hey joe
my shoes are slippery but I haven't try to climb thing
Then don’t wear them
Midge had a seizure on the last one lol

Literally
Next time I'm evading the heat I'll know just how to jump those pesky property walls. ;-D

better is pop vault
I’m gonna be honest I’m here to learn how to sneak out easier

Ok so at least just do a lvl1 “climb up” with a pull up, putting your elbows on top, dip up, and then step up one leg at a time
My works too. Used WoodPrix handbooks and build it with no problems.
Im sure you may build it too guys. Just look for woodprix page and build it too.
You could just wall run
Lol 3:53 XD
Such constructions and similar can be found on the Stodoys website.
"A vetical wall" Isn't it "VeRtical"? =P
Probably his accent.
I am sure that you will find good way to make it on woodprix Webpage.
awww i wanted to learn the assassins creed way
We'll search up LaFlair parkour and watch his video on how to climb a wall then you can be Altair
Parkour
Who else is preparing for the military?
LEARN PARKOUR

Yea. She didn't cheat at all guys. Letsjust pretend she didn't we didn't see all that toe work on the ledge.
The whole thing is fake because these narrow walls with the overgrip make “climb ups” free.

Thats soo wrong
I can make it myself. Just got instructions from woodprix website and I'm ready for do it :D
Hmm I think they need better technique
I think you need better grammar.

That's a tiny wall. I could clear that shit no problem

doesn't that take more energy? and not everyone can master it the first time for the wall run technique..

she cheated. but i guessshedidit
this honestly sucks just do a pop up
Frfr
this technique is very slow and inefficient in comparison to a parkour wall up :/
Frfr
*climb up, but this has an over grip anyways, so it’s not even a real climb up.
such bad technique
I know. You have to kind of push yourself back with your legs like in parkour ,not just try to slide up
Edward Buddo, yeah, but so bad for your body, but what ever floats your boat lol
Frfr
There's a faster way to do this it's called "wall running" you ever heard of parkour
And also climb ups, flick ups, precisions, strides, cranes, flick up landings, and am jump landings
Dont liste to these people they no nothing about climbing
You know nothing about punctuation and spelling.
