I had a total hysterectomy and oopherectomy, because my dr thought I had ovarian cancer. I did not. A young internist did four separate blood tests on me and sent me to an oncologist, for blood cancer. The oncologist said I was perfectly fine and that he needed to teach the internist how to read blood tests. A urologist thought I had bladder cancer. I did not. I have decided that I will live longer, if I just avoid drs. My best to you, Don ❤️
I have had a very similar situation. I noticed years ago that people who work in the medical field seem to always have to have another medical procedure done for some ailment. They are the sickest people ever. But when I have a problem they can't seem to figure it out except it might be cancer until it is just a couple of other common things that are not cancer at all. I know one person at work who had a joint replacement and nearly lost her leg from it. I know another person at work who had ankle surgery years ago, the ankle deteriorated, and they amputated his lower leg. My knees are bad but I think I'll keep them for as long as I can. I can go on and on with more stories. I also know of people who should have gone to the doctor sooner than they did. I just don't think it is good to run to the doctor for every little thing.
How did they not do a scope up to your bladder? I'm in the USA. And have bladder cancer, 8t was confirmed only by a Scope done by my urologist, I have pappillary carcinoma. Superficial, I'm lucky

Don- I'm hearing this now for the first time coming off seven nights on Celebrity Equinox. We just got home earlier and as I type this, I'm 35 minutes into my 64th birthday. While on Equinox my wife celebrated her birthday on the 18th. It was outstanding! We've sailed Equinox seven times and have gotten to know many of the crew very well which made for a very special Birthday sailing for my wife. This news you're sharing, put plainly, SUCKS! Please know that even people who don't comment often, or are a part of your inner circle, are not only pulling for you but sharing fervent prayers for you. We want the best for you and are prayers are in line with that!!!!

Thank you for the education you give us all. What you are going through is hard, but you are strong and have many who care, be strong my friend, you fought it before, fight again. My Mom had 5 different cancers and lived until 82. I’ve had 2 myself. Medical technology has improved to the extent that if you get regular tests and follow the treatment protocols, you have a good chance of getting through it. Best wishes!

My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer and with 18 hour occasional fasting and about 2-3 hours in the gym every single day and super clean diet and obviously a lot of medication his cancer is no longer visible! Don I have survived stage 4 colon cancer and have been in remission for about four and a half years. I got my miracle and I hope you get yours again too. I am still on chemo for precaution every two weeks, so cannot really plan on a cruise, but enjoy living through your videos. Much good luck and prayers your way.
I was just diagnosed with prostate cancer. Surgery being scheduled now. You are so right about emotions and support. The first week there is a lot of mental emotions that you go through. Family and friends are important to help. Thankfully mine is caught early and the doctor is very optimistic that all will be good. I thank god for youtube for all the videos out there to help understand what is going to be happening during surgery and life after. @ Dr did a biopsy to rule it out. It was just scar tissue from when an OB/GYN cut through my bladder, doing the hysterectomy (another adventure…).
