In the final season of the series, it should be like endgame for the MCU, I want to have Reverse Flash, Zoom, Savitar, The Thinker, Cicada and Godspeed be the villains. I want to have the first half of the season be like Infinity War, with every single hero against every single Villain, the 2nd half would be endgame. Where to win he needs to time travel to every season. Like s1, S2, s3, s4, s5, s6, s7 and whatever else is coming, I want to have an epic final battle and I want an ending fight between flash and reverse flash and to end their story, with maybe reverse flash dying for good or Thawne kills Barry, or anything else except, Thawne having a change of heart and becomes a good guy
And one more thing, Oliver queen may return prior to Barry vanishing because when Oliver queen died he brought back family,friends and enemy’s so what if every deceased enemy,ally,and family is revived by Barry’s sacrifice to save the world but it creates a new timeline that Barry had a twin brother named jay Allen
It's not ending after season 8. At least from what we know. Nothing has been confirmed, but fake rumors have been spreading so that may have been what you saw.

This trailer bases itself on what a lot of people want the finale to be like. Flash runs back to the night his mom dies then becomes the lightning bolt that struck him. It can still happen since everything is different after crisis.
