This scene is a great meta-reference. A generation of new brokers came of age quoting Gordon Gekko without having the self awareness to understand that Gekko was the villain.

Wolf is better. Now if you want to see something about the recent financial crisis that explores when it went down look up Margin Call. Stars Jeremy Irons, Kevin Spacey, Paul Beatney, Demi Moore and Zachary Quinto. On a lighter side of that subject watch the Big Short. Boiler Room wasnt bad when it came out however the ones I mentioned plus Wolf are much better.
