As much as I concur about Boomstick Gaming's awesomeness, it's doubtful a primer would have lessened the lot of them being a bunch of salty whiny little bitches retaliating against the game for not receiving early access review codes. I can understand it being given a 7, just as I understand it being given a 9 or higher. But those who gave it less than a 6, like those 4s and 5s were clearly sabotaging it.

Was a skeptic about this game cause of the neg reviews so I played it for myself once I discovered all the accessibility settings that save time the game was more smooth and I get it people trash it because it’s kinda hard to get a grasp for the story isn’t that fleshed out even though it’s okay, it’s a decent game and there’s actually a lot items and upgrades to find even the mana spots are so abundant it’s like the game is telling you to get OP it’s basically letting you, plus all the wells you can jump in to get new skills and the nails and necklaces and cloaks you can actually have pretty decent build sets and upgrade a lot of your items
I agree there’s actually a lot to do and a lot of items to go after that’s why I made a save before the final tanta boss so I can go back and go after other stuff, I just beat the game yesterday after taking about 4 days two days off and after work the other days, it’s pretty good, it’s no god of war it’s not elden ring but the idea was there and the story isn’t really the big play it’s the game play and the size of the map which is pretty big imo
I finished it yesterday, absolutely loved it. Combat is fantastic, I enjoyed the story and the characters, also the dialogue was nowhere near as bad as some people making it out to be. Ive heard way worse. I loved the world to, traversing about and exploring Athia was fun, loads of treasures and detours.
I am 35h into the game and I still enjoy it to the fullest. I don’t know what it is exactly, but the game is very addictive. In my case, worth every penny.

Good looking out! Some of these settings really increased my efficiency. I had the wrong impression about the sensitivity lol I thought that increasing the value widened the dead zone. I wasn't complaining at stock, but I can see so much better now. No more wild swings when the action gets intense, I just have the precision that I need to avoid damage from my old blind spots. They're REALLY in trouble now lol
True something that did hold me back especially when I up the difficulty is the auto healing I forget how many healing potions I have and don’t look at it especially early on when I just had the normal amount then I die because i didn’t pay attention to how many I had left and just played like I had infinite health lmao

Every modern game forces you to go through the accessibility settings without the need to change anything but this game is almost unplayable without them and they dont even bother to tell you 😅

I was lucky enough to get a Dualsense Edge day 1. USING IT ALOT FOR THIS GAME. I like the half dome back buttons. I have circle and triangle bound to the back buttons...although after thinking about it I could have just changed buttons thru Playstations UI, but anyways yeah being able to parkour or hit circle and being able to parry W/OUT TAKING YOUR THUMBS OFF STICKS = YES PLZ!

In most areas the performance mode takes a hit graphically and looks like elden ring ps4 version the ray tracing combat is still fun but it looks so much better. Ray tracing mode is a no brainer

This was one of the most egregious things about all the "reviews ". Most of the hating was on things that is easily changed in settings. First thing I did was turn down link talk.
Spells you will unlock that are unique attacks that ALSO switch you out to different magic types at the same time. They are all mapped oddly to L1+R1+X or Square or Triangle or Circle
I just kind feel annoying when the auto target enemy system need to manually target next enemy when the current targeted enemy die, dev should make Frey auto target next enemy
Why do your quality in performance mode look so much bette than mine? I’m using an LG C1 OLED with performance mode on and it looks like I’m playing at 720p.
it's a pity there's no magic trick to fix framerate on pc...i mean, i understand i have the minimum gpu for this game (1060 gtx) but still the maximum i can do to have a decent framerate is keep resolution as 1080p and graphic settings to standard (not high nor maximum quality), any of these if set just one step above make the framerate become quite lesser and unstable...
Don't use the dpad to switch spells cause u have to move your thumb off the stick. *takes whole hand off controller to swipe on the touch pad* do this cause it's so much simpler....
i put it on hard but my question is, in accessibility i can still turn on options to take even more damage and have stamina regenerate slower, do you think turning those settings on to make it even harder will hive me even better battle ranking? thus giving me more xp?
It pertains to the stats you are upgrading with that skill… it says it right on the spell. Those spells allow you to upgrade health or defense on the different armor pieces and when you spell craft it, it allows you to upgrade that stat even more
I don’t know why people are so mad the game is actually pretty good and despite the dialogue this really could’ve been worse in my opinion it’s not even buggy and I’ve only experienced one crash out of the 13 hours I’ve put into the game so far
I dont care about what people says, for example witcher 3 and cp 2077 i did not like them but a lot people A LOT of them like it. So thats why i dont care if u did not like it or like it, i’m the one who is going to play not you. Thats my opinion 😊
Playing on PC, unfortunately i can not play since i'm not using controller. Controlling the character with mouse and WASD is impossible. Frame rate and graphics are fine.
You may be able to make the game run better but there is no way to make the game better. you guys must be the few that actully like this game, its bad, the script is terrable and the woman is annyoying and the grahficks are last gen ,i am trying to find something good to say about it but i am at a loss, at £70.00 this game is a rip off.

All the reviews crying about too much talking and they didn’t look for a toggle in the settings lol. At least someone knows how to play games in 2023.
In my opinion, this game is worth it. Ten hours in, enjoy every bit.
