Just got one of these and I love it. I'm glad I chose this over the AK1 and AK2. I already cloned the OS to a 250GB Samsung 840 SSD I put in the storage compartment on the bottom. After cloning it with MiniTool Partition Wizard and changing the boot order, I had to remove the drive letters from a couple of partitions that were showing up in My Computer and File Explorer, but that was easy. They were from the on board storage. Now I just see the C drive of the SSD. The SSD is about twice as fast as the on board storage, which translates to a much more responsive system, but the on board storage was pretty good, actually. Better than I was expecting. And I may put an NVME drive in it one day, but I don't know if it would be worth the cost, as the unit will still be constrained by its RAM and CPU.
When I first got the unit I went online long enough for Windows to activate and store the digital license on the Microsoft servers, then performed a clean install of Windows 10. I did this because I have limited data with my internet and the W10 version the unit came with was 1809. It would have taken a good bit of data to bring it current, so I instead installed W10 1909, which activated without issue after going online. I saved a system image and the Driver File Repository before performing the clean install, of course.
I haven't really done a whole lot with the unit other than finishing the setup and browsing the net for a couple of hours, but the unit is pretty responsive. Much better than I was expecting and much more responsive than the ACEPC Wintel 8 Pro that I have. I'm glad I bought it. No regrets.

What happened to the GK1? They don't sell it anywhere. It's not that it's sold out, it's NOT FOR SALE. GearBest actually says "Discontinued".
Got a acepc t11 today...can't see where to plug in a microphone....I plug in a mic into the headphone jack but Google does not respond.

SSD/HDD and sometimes DDR3/4 memory limits are often capable of going higher than what's listed. I doubt there's an M.2 SSD or SATA capacity limit other than what is PHYSICALLY available. Some (most/all?) of the DDR4 SODIMMS can do 8GB per slot no problem but may be listed as 4GB.
I would love to see 8gb . I feel 4gb is no good. 8 would be preferred. Nice review as always.
Is there a difference between the three types of Acepc other than ram and storage?
Is it possible to upgrade the RAM at all? Or is 4gbRAM good enough for video editing?
4GB is enough for light editing. Rendering will take long too and RAM is soldered to the board. Your probably better of getting something more powerful with at least an i5 for video editing.
