Hi! Lovely video! I understand that the whole point of the video is about learning and practising, but I think there is some important part that you need to get a better understanding of. Particularly about the splash shot. Actually, you don't need a high shutter speed to do the shot. Even using 'Bulb' mode is possible, because all you need to freeze the water is the flash duration from your strobe, not the camera shutter speed. And the hand-shadow shot, you need to get a better distance of all objects so the shadow is more defined. I hope my words don't mind you because all I did is encourage you to constantly improve your work. I am a still-life photographer myself, I love your enthusiasm to learn and practice and I still learning something from your video. Keep up your good work! ;)
i’ve just started my product photography life, I only have my mirrorless fujifilm camera. what am I supposed to buy more? softboxs? speed light? to make small studio
Please diffuse the video key light. Your eyelash shadow on your nose when you blink is super distracting. Not intended as a criticism. ~ No one improves without recognizing where improvements can be made. Like your philosophy and your presence. 'Liked" and will check back again. Good fortune to you.
I love the water effect! You make me feel confident to trust my creative process!

@@AileenChoiPhoto can you make a tutorial on how to get watch photos like Hodinkee?? I think that would get a bunch of views 😁

This is one of the best product photo videos I’ve seen! How did you light the water splash shots? They look phenomenal
Thank you!! One light was pointing to the backdrop and the other one was straight on facing the product.
this is hella rad. the lighting is so advanced for me, but I hope to get there eventually!
Thank you! I thought I couldn't do stuff like this before either but you absolutely can! Message me if you have questions when you try it out :)
