Great training Ali, thank you! I'm definitely trying to get this off the ground as I've spent lots of time designing my own AI last year and almost launched it, but i'm glad i waiting for GHL to get this in.
It's significantly cheaper than paying someone to manage inbound conversations manually and way less expensive than not following up with leads at all. Its all relative depending on what you're comparing it to. Thats also a good reason to use the max bot messages.
Is the cost of the conversation ai (2 cents per message) added on top of the normal SMS messaging costs? When using the conversation ai to send out SMS messages to clients. Thanks.
Yes, the cost of Conversation AI (2 cents per message) is added on top of the regular SMS messaging costs. So, you’ll be charged for both the SMS messages and the AI-powered messages separately. But With AI Employee its unlimited for all AI.
This is priced per message so you would want to turn on auto rebilling if they’re on saas. If they are not on saas, I would limit conversations to 10 max and based on the number of leads on average per month you could do a flat rate that would cover costs.
Does this only work if the prospect initiated the first message or can you manually send out an initial message to elicit a response that will then trigger the bot? I saw another video that said it may only work if the prospect starts the convo.
Yes this is a conversational bot, not a cold outreach bot. There are many ways you can start conversations with highlevel through text but they do need to respond in order for this to work. If you want to leverage this, the goal is to get leads coming in to your system and workflows that start the conversation. Then, instead of having a real person field everything, you have the conversation AI do the job.
Its a cool feature but its not ready just yet. Its good enough for certain types of businesses. Not gonna cut it for my business, my client type would laugh at this. If they misspell or use abrevations (which happens a lot) its just gonna take too much to "train" this Ai. And its going to experience errors and when the system is down, that can cause headaches that you’ll need to manually correct and apologize to prospects. Just hire and train a good setter and bdr team and do it right
Yeah if you go through the video I make the same comments for my business specifically. Its not where we need it to be just yet, but for more simple businesses, its perfect!
The AI chatbot is legit upgrading every Week lol

Glad you liked it!
can you do a new video on this?
There has been a ton of new updates on it!
I’ve heard the AI Conversational chat charges per each call (1-way message) and it can get expensive quickly.

Does it come with 97 plan?
You have to turn it on, but yes it can be used on the standard plan.
Allie, how can this service should be charged? If I enroll clients at $297 how can I calculate the extra fee for using this feature?
