I used to have a few different zaoulis crafted, all have incandescent in the 4th but I had one with ensemble for raids/dungeon type shit (cuz i hate the reload), one with pugilist for running sunbracers without heat rises, and the one that I’ve ultimately kept, explosive payload w/ incandescent feels so good compared to lunas heal clip/incandescent. Tho I do like Lunas for my verity’s and starfire builds (heal clip + benevolence)

While I might agree that Banes damage potential is probably higher, More damage doesn’t = versatility/utility which is my point made from my original comment.
Absolutely, since you're going for crits anyway might as well make them 50% stronger, incandescent doesn't do a whole lot at base unless its really built into

Ember of Benevolence is one of the best fragments so I think it might be worth building into. Luna's is probably one of the better heal clip choices for PVE.

EP is an S tier perk because it scales very well with endgame content. Incandescent and Mag howl does not. Nothing you said in this vid suggests giving a "slight edge" to luna's howl.
Incandescent literally synergize with your abilities? How does it not scale well into higher tier content? It spawn sunspots on Titan, recharge your class ability with ember of singeing, Also spawn firesprites with another fragment I cannot think the name of.
@@chrisborges7344 “scaling” isn’t an “mmo term”. It seems like you play every activity on the lowest difficulty if you don’t understand how a perk can lose potency at higher difficulty. Example: the onslaught perk is pretty useless in a GM.

In which incan is considered good on zaoulis because it has ep on top of it. Overall ep and one for all on zaoulis would be better for gms because thats 2 damage perks without needing to kill anything. Whereas lunas both heal clip and incan both require a kill for you to get something out of the perk. No its not hard to get kills, but perks like incan doesnt make it any easier to kill things unlike ep, one for all, frenzy etc. When youre roughly 30 under power neutral perks have more value. It does at the end of the day come down more so to the build youre running, but generally neutral perks hold more value

Yes the extra damage and range is nice but in low end activities most things die to a single shot. I would be curious to see, in end game activities, how much it really matters. Does it reduce TTK on multiple enemy types? Anyways I really like my discord incandescent roll. I do think I will replace it with subsistence incandescent if I ever get one though. Also I dont think EP spreads scorch but I could be wrong. I keep forgetting to test this.

Explo shifts that crit to body damage ratio to be a lot more forgiving so that there isn’t a need for crits. Imo the only thing Luna’s has going for it is heal clip but if you’re running solar already just run one of the many healing options in the game already.

It’s like a fraction of a second slower than a max reload Luna’s I guarantee you don’t notice the actual time difference. What you do notice is the animation difference. It’s got an animation with slower appearing movements and more steps. It’s a psychological thing 100%.
Imma save you 4 minutes: NO. Zouli's Bane is superior to L.Howl in PvE. L.Howl superior in PvP. Overall, use whatever the fuck you want because mEtAaAaAa players kill fun for everyone else.

In the rare instances where I do use a primary, having the stagger and artificially extended range of explo is immensely helpful.

If not the best, smg are ass in endgame, scouts take too long and is more of a passive playstyle, pulses is... Beyond ass, ar are fine but id use a hc over it, bows are good and versatile but i like the more aggressive playstyle with hcs even in sht like gms.

Luna’s has already replaced Zaouli’s for me. Better reload, better stability and being able to get the healing on any subclass.
