The shenanigans from double eager edge were fuckin nuts. Also they saw everyone craft the shotgun Ammit and said “fine I’ll do it myself” and gave us Choir of One
still the most enjoyable bug in destiny history. so much fun playing around and experimenting with different weapons/perks. hope someday something similar could happen
@@geekred For me, I just stuck to PvE stuff with it since I hate PvP and I don't like ruining other people's fun. Took it into the Vexcalibur mission on Master though... Brakion had it coming for a long time. Only real viable way to do it with how BS Bungie has been making activities these days.
i love they took inspiration from this absolute mess! It was handled really well, i feel, just a one off insane weekend we'll likely never see again :)
I only managed to get a few of the weapons to work - but I had a way outsized amount of fun with them. There have been several "you had to have been there" moments in Destiny - Prometheus Lens Laser tag, Queensbreaker with 2000% aim assist, 12 person raids etc - but this is right at the peak.
The most fun I've ever had in Destiny. With just the Shotgun Ammit and a bugged Tarnation, I soloed two dungeons for the first time, went flawless for the first time, completed a Grandmaster Nightfall for the first time, and saved a Crota run where the rest of my team was woefully underpowered. My only regret is that I didn't do more with that limited window of opportunity, but those memories will last a lifetime.
I did my first solo-flawless dungeon during the craftening and I was howling laughing at watching Dul-Incarnu's HP get deleted and also having the screen covered in 999,999 damage numbers.
I was still a relatively new light when the craftening happened, so I couldn’t really abuse this glitch. But seeing this video made my day so much better. Destiny at its most chaotic
Honestly the glitch reminded me of a dead game from 20114 i loved called loadout. where combinging stupid amounts of gimmiks into a weapon was the the main selling point, like making a remote controlled rocket launcher that explodes into tesla sticky mines on detonation
I’m on console but I managed to craft a ammit and had so much fun playing trials. It was a wild weekend of trials with almost everyone had the ammit. Thanx for the nostalgia and hearing your voice in another video.
Seeing that last clip. My head canon is you hooked your gun up to the sword in your well and proceeded to use a garden hose to spray away those pesky bugs.
i participated in that crazy week, i flew through those GM's like they were lost sectors, just absolutely demolishing every enemy it was crazy fun. i miss it, they should do it again.
Getting this glitch to work for me was way tougher since I did indeed have my Destiny on an SSD. However, I managed to make it work semi-consistently by capping my frames, running 5 other games, watching like 10 RUclips videos at once, and playing on phone hotspot wifi. That slowed the game enough to make it much easier to make many creations from the depths of Hell, and my computer was blowing like a jet turbine the whole time. It's a very funny memory I have from this whole incident.
This and the 12 man glitch were so influential that bungie decided that the final shape had ergo sum which was inspired by the craftening and the excision mission became an offical 12 man mission
Dude i can still remember the moment this glitch suddenly became main stream. Watching a Atzcross trials video it was all normal no bugged weapon in sight. Then suddenly get a video about the craftening glitch and then BOOM everyone knew about it now.
i missed those days, making my Ammit shotgun and machine gun grenade launcher, i got so many things done that weekend, i wish i could play that all over again
I remember crafting a Burst Linear Fusion Rifle, I think it was the one from RON, with the shotgun… Stupidly funny, some friends did so many GMs and masterworked so many exotics lol. What an awesome era. I would not be mad if they actually bring back an event for a week or few days of craftening lol
I loved this week, i spent 26 hours straight making 6 guns and it was worth every second, best bug i wish came out again or turned into a crucible mode
The regnant heavy GL with a shotgun frame with muligan on it. It like I fired the Heavy GL 12 times per shot and I had infinite ammo. I would just hang back and carpet bomb the whole field. What a time to be alive!
My best accomplishment from the craftening was an Ikelos SMG with Oste Striga as intrinsic perk + subsistence and chain reaction. It was the absolut add-clear weapon that I never had to reload
I made a double mulligan pardon our dust with aggressive frame, I was able to Duo Crota using that and an aggressive Tarnation. Hands down one of the best things I’ve ever made, because you just shot the floor and bounced all twelve and got EVERY shot back
This was indeed the most fun time we had in D2 in a while. Cant wait for some people to say that this glitch didnt worked for them after attempting to do it today
Aggressive frame on heavy gls, dead messenger perk on vex calibur, aggressive frame on hand cannons with lucky pants. Let's just say those were the quickest one phases on dungeon and raid bosses.
I remember the craftening because I had been queuing for trials for about 2 hours when all the sudden my I ran into a shotgun ammit for the first time. I thought I ran into a hacker because at the time I didn’t know about the bug and I was also in a vc with some buddies who thought I was full of bs until I showed them the clip. Then I saw more and more people doing it and found out it was a bug.
I got it to work eaisly by first playing on my PS5 instead of PC and then swapping to wifi and going to the furthers room upstairs away from my router, downloading Modern Warfare 2 in the background, while also streaming 4k video on my phone and having my kids do the same from all the other tvs in the house. Needless to say, it was fairly easy to merge the perk with all that going on, the menus would lag like crazy and I was just on the border of contacting Destiny servers at all times lol.
I rember seeing a azzcross video on this day. I logged on and said to my buddy let's see how far this has spread. And the video was only hours old. But first game a team of admits. I proceeded to log off for the weekend hahah.
THEE loadout. Was the defiance tube gl (agressive frame), the witch handcannon (also agressive frame) and the defiance heavy gl(also agresisce) put out so much damage the healthbars cant handle it
I rembered that I crafted a Heritage with an aggressive frame went to Kalli and just absolutely demolished her more than 200000 per shot was absolutely dumb 😅
my favorite weapons were a 2x eager edge sword that would just send you flying soooo fast, and a mulligan aggressive shotgun Tarnation GL, which would have infinite ammo and you could just hold down left click and explode everything
I’LL EDIT THIS WHEN IM DONE WATCHING I HAVEN’T STARTED THE VIDEO YET IM STILL ON THE AD BUT HI HELI Edit: I JUST FINISHED THE VIDEO GREAT VIDEO BRING BACK THE CRAFTENING BUNGIE
Fond memories, I was late on this fun. Away all weekend and home late Sunday evening thought ied have a couple of hours in D2 before bed about 11pm and up Monday at 5am for work. Signed in to madness(what the fcuk is this) by the time ied worked out what was happening and aquired an ammit and plancks stride it was well past my bed time and iam ganna solo a G. M. Next thing I remember is my Mrs trying to prise the controller out of my hand shouting your late for work. Couldn't wait to get home cos I was doing that G. M. but bungie had fixed it, all my freaky weapons had lost there superpowers. Fond memories! Thanks for sharing... "👍"...
Tarnation with aggressive frame and mulligan was much better than the lmg. Parden our dust with the same roll for pvp as well. But Tarnation allowed you to shoot infinite heavy cluster nades which instantly wiped anything in the gm, including the boss, allowing for runs of just a couple minutes each.
I played the europa heist with a tarnation and come to pass both with chain reaction and mulligan. I rained hell on the facilities like the germans did london back in the day. Each clear with a team with those mfs took like 5 minutes at most lmao
I don’t have any social media so I was in the dark before the storm hit. I remember seeing ‘lasers’ on on a activity I don’t really remember, but I saw green lasers as if it was a light show and remember telling myself ‘oh that’s a really cool visual’ Then I joined up an lfg raid group it was KF and I remember saying at the war priest encounter ‘are we gonna use div and linears or div and rockets what’s the move’ then homie was like ‘nah we don’t need it’ and he got one phased. I was like wtfffff and it’s when it clicked in my head ‘oh you fucker you’re using the glitch huh haha’ he said yeah very proudly Thank god I’m not a pvp players, but wished I would’ve played at least one game of laser tag
This was the best time i had in destiny lol. Did crtoas end then did my first gm then hoped in trials and destroyed the first team lol. Ended up only matching extra gamers in every other match and got deleted lol
i remember i crafted the vexcalibur with dead messenger on it and hit 16mil on oryx with one mag acuse each pellet from vexcalibur was a DM shot so it had 3 grenades equalling about 12ish grenades a shot
1. Im pretty sure you didn't have to hover over the exotic perk for it work. You just had to be in the weapon ui 2. Thta was the only weekend ive ever gone to the lighthouse
Brought my xbox one out to craft my beloved aggresive frame mulligan breach loaded gl... never reloaded it once, mulligan procced as the projectiles left the barrel
The shenanigans from double eager edge were fuckin nuts. Also they saw everyone craft the shotgun Ammit and said “fine I’ll do it myself” and gave us Choir of One
Oh shit you right
bungie really did using bug as feature 😂
Once a month bungie needs to do a chaos week.
Japan in 8K gave me a calming sensation that helped me think clear enough to hit the right RNG seed for the best craftables.
the stacks of japan simply just hits different
still the most enjoyable bug in destiny history. so much fun playing around and experimenting with different weapons/perks. hope someday something similar could happen
Fun fact to go with that, we wouldn't have gotten Ergo Sum without it. Ergo was inspired by this event.
Technically they never patched it it just boots you too the starting screen I am pretty sure
Sadly I took a break from destiny in this era and missed out
@@geekred For me, I just stuck to PvE stuff with it since I hate PvP and I don't like ruining other people's fun. Took it into the Vexcalibur mission on Master though... Brakion had it coming for a long time.
Only real viable way to do it with how BS Bungie has been making activities these days.
They better make this an annual celebration/let this happen again
I’m 99% sure Choir of One was inspired directly by the shotgun Ammit during this time.
100%
We all know that ergo sum was lol, they mentioned it in a vidoc, I am curious how much the crafting gave the devs ideas overall lol
i love they took inspiration from this absolute mess! It was handled really well, i feel, just a one off insane weekend we'll likely never see again :)
@@Heli they’re buffing prospector to make a larger explosion so that was probably from the shotgun GLs
@@Scrappy0794 Only the ones who saw the vidoc, but choir of one was seen as the main result of that inspiration lol.
What was crazy was creating an aggressive gl with mulligan and impulse amplifier so trials was just ww3 and aggressive Tarnation nuking bosses and gms
This was probably the most fun I've ever had in destiny history
it really was :) such a unique time
they should have a destiny experimental build where the community decides what absolute shenanigans gets put into and out of the game, poll system way
@@frostysimo1394 that would be an interesting addition to the game. Could be a pretty good idea or a really bad one lol
Shoutout to my xbox one that came out of retirement so I could make some of the crafted guns
Shoutout to my broke ass for not being able to upgrade my xbox one so i could do this
i would have absolutely got out ol' reliable if it came to it 😁 good to see ya Forcer :)
1year ago, I had my best life playing D2. now we can only remember those memorises
I only managed to get a few of the weapons to work - but I had a way outsized amount of fun with them.

oh absolutely, i'm very happy i was around for this :)
Real ones got an agg frame bow and sniper. I'll forever treasure you, Fel Taradiddle and Father's Sins
Mulligan shotgun GL was supreme

I remember purposefully setting the clock of my PS5 forward just to lag the game just enough to make my god Ammit.
Truly the best day in D2 history.

Silly guy, plays with silly guns. Happy day :)
Bro made Stupidly Good Advice
I liked that the aggressive frame also gave a small bump to the fire rate. A baby onslaught. Needs to be an origin perk.
This and the 12 man glitch were so influential that bungie decided that the final shape had ergo sum which was inspired by the craftening and the excision mission became an offical 12 man mission

You bringing up MW2 javalin glitch is crazy, really brings you back.
The shotgun trait on a bow was amazing
getting mulligan and aggressive frame gl was peak
I never got a chance to try this bug, but I saw the hilarity unfold and avoided pvp at all cost lol.
great decision 😆
Pvp was the most balanced it ever was

Brilliant, I remember players posting GM runs on the original fireteam app with "must have Funny guns"
My best accomplishment from the craftening was an Ikelos SMG with Oste Striga as intrinsic perk + subsistence and chain reaction.
It was the absolut add-clear weapon that I never had to reload
Basically the Craftening can be summed up in just one phrase “well this is stupid”.
I miss my vexcalibur with dead messenger perk. It 1 shot champs and 1 phased all dungeon bosses solo. 1 clipped caiatl.
I made a double mulligan pardon our dust with aggressive frame, I was able to Duo Crota using that and an aggressive Tarnation. Hands down one of the best things I’ve ever made, because you just shot the floor and bounced all twelve and got EVERY shot back

Bungie should’ve made a week long annual “craftening” event (on a more moderate level). It would be so hype.
The most fun destiny has ever been we really need it to be like a season event or something
That machine gun was just arc super good advice
I miss my my cernos prime. Such a fun time. And my muligan shotgun gl, which had infinite ammo
Ah yes, the bug that got me and the boys through grandmaster VOG.
Vexcalibur's shining moment
Lfr with agg shotgun+ mulligan was peak
If there was a perfect world, Bungie would give us their dev build where we can do a true craftening with every perk, frame, and exotic trait
Best weekend of 2023
Kill Clip and reservoir Brust on ammit was so OP in PvP
Got my first and only flawless this weekend thanks to Ammit, so thankful for this event
I still have the shotgun ammit I made during this in my vault.
It may not be silly anymore, but it's staying.
The day Destiny players had some fun in the game
Pvp back then was the most balanced pvp i ever played, we all had the same weapon and the only difference was your skill surviving that chaos
I found it funny that none made a autorifle with the perk of the truth rocket launcher with hardcore seeker bullets
Vexcalibur was a deleter of timelines during this glitch
I was that guy with a mulligan pardon or dust GL in Trials :)
hahaha hell yeah
