What a great video. Clear, concise, and very informative. I have the Road King Classic 2006 in the same color. I have the stock leather bags and have been thinking about going with the hard black bags. Your video convinced me that this is the way to go. They look incredible! Thank you for making it easy for us.
Hi Bernie, Thank you for the feedback. I really appreciate it and helps me figure out how to best present all that I do. Glad I could help you with your decision. - Mike
Hi Mike like your videos, i also have a 2007, and would like to add the same bags as you did. When i did ebay search, it said they did not not fit my bike. What bags did you use? TIA, keep up the good work!
What's up Chop! Thanks for your support bud. I was a little worried when I ordered these because it was the new style hardware, thought I would end up having to return them but they actually do fit. Here is the link. www.ebay.com/itm/184379151370 Appreciate the good words brother, ride safe.
I don't think so. Check out this link, guy put hard bags on his bike but doesn't have the lower support and only mounts on top. I think for the top, you could just fab your own but not sure what metal you would use. Hope this helps www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-glide-models/764055-fat-bob-with-police-touring-hard-bags.html
Yup, our frames should be the same. When you put them on, just make sure to loosen the bracket thats on the bike so you can adjust them once they are on. I found my right side sat too close to the side cover and started rubbing a little so just adjusted it and no more issues. Hope it all works out for you and thanks for watching.
Nice job I also have a 07 king classic in suede blue pearl. Definitely thinking about upgrading to them also. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching

Thanks for the information, how have they been holding up?
@@funkybioped haven't had any issues, hoping to color match them soon.
I have a 2003 Dyna Lowrider. I wonder if you’re lower bar that supports the bottom of the bag and brackets for the inside will work on my frame

I was wondering why the quarter turn latches won’t work
They work, from what I understand is that the wear over time and will come undone when you least expect it. Figured I would save myself the heartache.
@@Mikeityourself so they will still work you just wanted to preemptively get it over with?
Exactly
Thanks for sharing
Nice be careful taking turns
Thank you, I will
What bolt for the saddle bag inside did you get?
Search this on Amazon. B0B97B971K Just some generic hardware, I just happen to like the skull design.
Look good Mike ! Amazing how much stuff can be wedged in hard bags when need be. :)
lol, thats a fact.
I have a 2005 Road King, these should fit with out too much work right?
