Just purchased an 05 cholo style road king from California. I’m freaking out because it’s being shipped to Connecticut. I hope it gets here in one piece. It’s my first Harley, can’t wait for it to arrive!
Took like 2 months to arrive to my house because the company had a shortage of drivers. It sat in Pennsylvania for like 3 weeks. But it did arrive in one piece. Bike looks amazing. If u r thinking of changing yours up I definitely would!
From my understanding, it depends on the type of wreck. Some wrecks will legally only be good for parts, while others may be pieced back together and will require an inspection. I also believe these laws may vary by state. But Sam told me he had no trouble registering the bike for the road
It's a tough call but in the end I would choose the softail. Mainly because of the exposed rear wheel and hidden rear suspension. I also like that they're a little lighter and therefor faster (with same motor). And the softails if done right, have more of an attitude when they're all cholo'd out. But there are many things about the kings that I like better like the nacelle, the bigger tank, better looking console and the dual front rotors.
@@JETFILMCHANNEL thanks man , yeah it's been tough for me too if I should swap my heritage with road king or not , but you right about rear wheel expose & lighter feel. + Softail got more that classic look I guess
I LEGIT had the same idea for my first intro video for when I begin building my Vicla-once I begin creating- by using the same song “Swallow” from Korn & burning out. Wicked bro. Lol
aw man doing big things in my state on my birthday!! awesome man next time lets link up and ride out to a biker bar get some footage and cruise! i have a heritage classic build im throwing a wheelset and some shark fins to finish up the bike but im always down to ride if ya ever find urself in Connecticut on a nice day hmu ill give ya my info..
I live right up the road from the Indian dealer on candlewood lake. Next time your in Danbury you should come meet up with the group of guys that I ride with. A lot of dope bikes, we are also working on putting an event together sometime at the end of April. Trying to bring back Super Sunday to Danbury.
I always enjoy your videos. The production quality is top notch. I have a 2014 heritage and $7k worth of parts in my living room. This is going to be a fun Pennsylvania winter.
4:00:Quote "I just Road Sam's Bike and it's the comfiest bike I've ever ridden". That's exactly why I'd keep it like it is. Maybe change a few things to make it more user friendly but that's it. All these guys spend tons of money to make it look "COOL" but it sucks to ride after. 3 of my friends chopped their sportsters and guess what, none still own the junk they built. Looked hardcore in the garage or parked out side the bar. Save the money you're going to waste making it suck and put it into the gas tank and hotels. Take that beautiful Saturday off work or hell call in friday and go ride. No man on his death bed ever said "I wish I had Worked Some More Overtime". But I bet plenty wish they could go on one more ride.
Well said at the end. But at this stage in my life I want it to look cool. Yeah, the stock king was comfy, but it didn't give me the feeling that you get when you ride an unforgiving custom built machine. Why people ride could be different than why I ride, but to me, the whole point of riding is how it makes me feel. Cheers
Wow, that's a great video. Dubai is so cool. Your driving video is so fantastic. I'm glad to be a friend of your great channel. Happy New Year. Always stay healthy. 👍👍👍🤝🤝🤝🤙👌💯
Thanks man, yeah Sam's dragging his feet a little on the King, but so is the painter he's using. We'll probably have more content for the king this spring
Lots been done already. 19" ape bars heated grips, adjustable levers and new seat heated lol. I'm doing wed putting 80 grit foot boards, pegs and more. Couple other stuff lol how weather there lol.
I'm new to your channel , You've Inspired me , in seeing the Love , you have for the Cholo Style motorcycle 😁 , im a new rider and have questions? 1. Can you make a video on how to keep your bike clean and from rusting , because you actually ride your bike and video will help guide those of us who don't know 2. I'm 5'9 , 240 pounds Is the deluxe too small for my size , or should I go with a road king?
Thanks man, I'm glad to hear it. I can certainly do a film on how I keep the bike clean, but honestly I'm not an expert in anti-rust techniques, but I'll show how I do it. So, 5'9 - 240- I would say either one would be suitable, but leaning more towards the RK. Neither bike is small, but the RK is wider and a bigger guy might enjoy the seat being a little wider, also (no offense) but a bigger guy would look a little more natural on a wider bike to the "third person". In a case like this, I'd go with the bigger option. Buy once, cry once. Good luck Victor, thanks for watching the films.
Just wanted to bad ass videos and a sweet ass bike u got. Im pretty sure I've got your bikes brother here in Tennessee. I'm gonna try to send u a picture. And for the Road King hell ya.
Yes! Please Cholo it, 21" front, lowered and with Carlini bars, led's and the works!
Agreed, the bars are arriving today. Filming the install tonight!

How did it go?

Please! I have an 01 road king with 20’ apes and fishtails. 2 tone color. Need some inspiration.
Believe me, I'm trying to push him along faster. Heading there now to film the apes install.
I’m from Connecticut. Grew up in Southbury! Now in North Carolina, just bought a 2000 road king!!
God I love your videos. The production level is always on point.
What year is your soft tail?
2013
Looks good man digging your videos
Are the take-off parts for sale ? If so , PM me.
For those of us not native to the US what exactly is a salvage title?
It basically means that the vehicle was/is wrecked. Fire/water/crash etc.
@@JETFILMCHANNEL Cheers mate. Does that mean it requires any special inspections to be roadworthy again?
From my understanding, it depends on the type of wreck. Some wrecks will legally only be good for parts, while others may be pieced back together and will require an inspection. I also believe these laws may vary by state. But Sam told me he had no trouble registering the bike for the road
@@JETFILMCHANNEL Good form. I look forwards to seeing the build on this one.
Which one you prefer for cholo style ? Roadking or deluxe/heritage ? 😃

Yeah that's a coincidence. Didn't plan that intro, the idea came to me when I started editing it down.

Im gonna tough out no windshield for a bit, feels good
This party is just getting started!
Hell yeah!
Those old road kings are so smooth. They are the best riding bikes in my opinion Like BUTTER 🧈
No doubt about it. Butter. Makes my bike feel like I'm riding up a flight of stairs
Cold dark and wet is called summer time here in Ireland 🇮🇪
Hahaha nice

Dam that roadking is sick!!!!!
😭 makes me want to ride so bad I hate winter ....
Tis the season to install mods!
Enjoy the videos dude!
Just some constructive criticism, that color change/grading at :38 was a little bit jarring.
Sam should totally do the 21 inch front wheel. Ive seen his bike on the road king forum on FB its a nice bike for a even trade
I agree, 21 would really fill that fender and give it a more modern look.
Gonna be doing some Vicla to my king personally. Love seeing what you've done with the deluxe and now I wanna see more of the King🤙
Thanks man, yeah Sam's dragging his feet a little on the King, but so is the painter he's using. We'll probably have more content for the king this spring
Going be warm after Wednesday man lol. I'm from Buffalo N.Y I just got my 2020 RKS last Monday. Keep those great videos up.
Awesome bike, those new RK specials look so badass. Got some plans for it?
Lots been done already. 19" ape bars heated grips, adjustable levers and new seat heated lol. I'm doing wed putting 80 grit foot boards, pegs and more. Couple other stuff lol how weather there lol.
P.S. I forgot that awesome bike you have.
Thats awesome, didn't even know you could get 19" bars, good luck with the build. Winter is a great time for mods
Your vids get better & better all the time... NICE!!👍
Thank you
Were are you ? Want new videos!!
Haha, they don't come easy. Last video took 6 weeks to shoot and edit. I'll have something by the end of the month

Damn bro I love ur bike the more I look at it . Now I have a ideal what I want my cholo bike to look like .
Love your bike, and show Sam's bike final result
The plan is to try and capture the process of the build. I think it'll be interesting and exciting to watch it take shape.
@@JETFILMCHANNEL I will do the same with mine
