I took blood, I followed my intuition and it saved my life. There was a jw couple that stood by my bedside and of course they told the elders that I took blood🙄I was put on reproof when I got discharged but at this point I really didn't care. I felt I made the right decision. I was treated like a disfellowshipped at the hall

When I was a kid my JW cousins would always explain that while they did not get presents on birthdays or Christmas, they got presents at other times and they would make sure their parents sent some to me as well. I'm still waiting for those presents.
Thank you for doing these. I woke up last year, right before the 2020 convention and could not stomach to watch them in any form. This year I can handle listening to you showing them and I appreciate all your work. My spouse is still in so it helps to keep up with what they are thinking.

Hanna was wife number 2 and the other wife had kids. To me it's just like other couples I know that tried for years before finally having a child. Sometimes these things just happen. No reason whatsoever to need divine intervention as part of the story.

That guy that won't "learn about Jehovah Witnesses from their enemies " looks like he is trapped in the sunken place.
I’d imagine when buying the phone he was looking at that message on, he did FAR more research from every possible source before committing to it than the religion he is throwing his entire life into.
Far more research is probably done on a phone that will last only a few years before trading it in for a newer model, if not every year. But a life long commitment? Better not investigate it thoroughly!

As a first year fully awoken ex JW who isn’t in a prison of indoctrination, you can clearly see the level of desperation and pressure has been turned up year after year as this cult is being exposed and continues to spin the narrative to keep people deluded and locked in and forcing ones who are studying to sadly give JW’s a chance at bat only to virtually strike out time after time when it comes to their lies and false predictions and to cover up the huge monster they have hid behind that curtain of deceit.
It’s so easy to see now, yet how sad it is that some of us have wasted precious time and years from our lives being heavily controlled by this false high pressure cult.

It's so unsettling to think back to my mindset when I was devout. I submitted my letter of disassociation today, I'm anxious but I feel free. I'm happy l did research, I've been in for 4 years. Now it's time for me to let the ones around me that I am now spiritual but not affiliated... I'm anxious honestly...

When the Asian gentleman said in narration "trust in Jehovah and do what is right." and he attempted to sneak by militarized police the SWAT team, Rogue One's Chirrut Imwe chanting "I'm one with the Force and the Force is with me" while walking through stormtrooper crossfire came to mind. I wouldn't be surprised if Rogue One somehow inspired that scene.

And in the timeline it makes sense too. Don't the conventions start to be prepared 5 years before they happen? It meets with the ARC, or close to it, if you you go back 5 years.
@@guigagude Yes, the Society begins preparing the summer assemblies roughly five years in advance. As I've mentioned before, David Splane, consequently, had at least that long to prepare his discourse for the Saturday afternoon session; and yet, to hear his delivery, there are sections where it sounds as though he was still trying to put it together right on the platform! I mention that specific discourse because there are lines in which he effectively throws both Geoffrey Jackson and Steven Lett under the proverbial bus, Jackson in the section on sworn testimony and Lett in the section on guilt in the sight of men and "innocence" in the sight of God. The swipe at Lett, for instance, is in light of Lett's remarks at Morning Worship (as presented on the Society's website) to the effect that to state that the Society protects pædophiles is "ridiculous"; in claiming that an individual's guilt is to be determined, not by a jury of his peers, but by the Lord, Splane, however, is admitting that, yes, the Society does protect pædophiles, and that at the expense of their victims, and declaring that Jehovah's witnesses, particularly the victims, should have absolutely no qualms whatsoever about that.

Can you imagine what those ‘brothers and sisters’ were feeling when setting up that Christmas tree in the middle of ‘Jehovah’s movie studio’. I bet they enjoyed it secretly or were sick to the stomach what a Pegan thing like that was doing there… What’s next? A ‘sister’ playing a prostitute? I guess for the sake of propaganda anything goes.
15 years ago I got out of this organization, and I hardly recognize it anymore. With every year that passes I see that this was the best decision that I ever made in my life. Letting go of all religious ideas set my mind free to make up my own mind and I never felt so good ❤️

It's interesting that you would mention a sister playing a harlot. The Society has presented at least two dramas regarding the account of Rahab at summer assemblies over the years, to wit, at the 1973 international assembly ("'Shout! For Jehovah Has Given You the City'") and at a district assembly during the '80's ("Marked for Survival").
Putting a hard hat and driving to different locations in a very nice car, much easier than doing door to door ministry.
Can you imagine asking any of those governing body brothers to do a 3.5-4 hour talk..

When that young man in the dramtisation asked himself, 'Why would I want to learn about Jehovah's Witnesses from their enemies?', the question he should have asked himself was, 'Why do Jehovah's Witnesses have enemies?'

The apostate talk was so asinine. The contradiction of, don’t read anything negative about the organization but don’t just believe rumors, check it out. I mean, are families looking At each other like, well which one is it???? No it’s check out anything except anything negative about the witnesses. I just can not see how my mom, of all people isn’t frustrated at this. Maybe she is, but too afraid to admit it to herself. Idk. 😒
I think it is the latter. I was one of those that thought, "I sacrificed this much, so it better be true." Also kept my mouth shut about my crisis of faith for the last 4 years.

Honestly i felt so heard and seen when you said you realize not everyone wants children. It's true when you are in the organization you seem to take it as face value then you get out and you start to see it after doing research on it
I spent seven years there without being baptized. The pressure was really intense to be baptized. When I balked, I was treated as if I was disfellowshipped. JW. Took a couple years to unravel the head trip they did on me.

I recently (9weeks) lost my little brother to suicide and my mom and her husband who are still in, COMPLETELY IGNORED me and my lil sis in their speech at the funeral.
Ofcourse, because WE NO LONGER BELIEVE !
They said that they can’t wait for the NEW WORLD to be here sk they can finally see their son again🙄 like, you know with how it’s made to believe you WILL LOSE 2 daughters right?
And our lil brother would find it weird that we’re not there!?

I was actually surprised when they came in to my room before I had my premature baby and all the things that we had been told were included in the no blood stance that they told me I needed to accept. I did not say anything but the look on my face must have said it all because I was met with “you cannot tie the doctors hands” that bothered me in the moment but soon I was back to trying to get through another hour trying to keep my baby in and give her more time and I put that comment in the back of my head but three years later they would stand by my dads bedside and tell him he could accept bone marrow but not platelets and the need for the latter actually caused his death very quickly because his blood could not clot and it just blows my mind how over the years they have changed and tweaked the rules on no blood just a little bit here and there but nobody seems to question it and tbh until you are the one in that hospital bed , as a member of the organization, or your family member is in that hospital bed you do not actually know from day to day the actual rules they are holding to at any given point. It is crazy that we just went along with the no blood regulation as gospel but we actually did not know what we were or weren’t allowed to accept like I said at any given time. I’m sure at this point even more has changed that most don’t even realize. I mean my dads cousin never got baptized as he was born with hemophilia and the medicine he needed to keep him alive was against the rules I’m not even sure if my great uncle was baptized because either my aunt or uncle had to have not been considering one of them had to sign off on that while he was small. He actually passed away shortly before my dad being the oldest male to live with the illness, he was well into his thirties. Idk if he still holds that spot but he was pretty well known by a handful of well known physicians in those final few years because prior to an accident where they could not stop the bleeding, which is the main piece to the illness, he was fairly healthy and only a bit developmentally delayed due to a brain bleed caused during birth I believe. I just don’t understand how anyone can buy this crap anymore it is so blatantly wishy washy and Cherry picked to cater to what the gb decides to go with whenever they want to change something

@Lloydevans, i caught the Easter egg in the last video with you sweeping the patio, but in this video i luv the magic trick you did at 2:36.54 to 2:36.56, with the book reappearing back into the glass case shelve behind you, now if i didn't know any better i would say that you were able to do that with the help of a higher power, but i think some video editing was the reason for that, hahaha... awesome video man :)
