I would suggest if you haven't already, get some chalk paint and pick an area of wall somewhere and paint the wall with that, and then they can write or draw with chalk and it will be a better route to take than crayons or markers, and its a really fun area for the kids to play with.
I went from 2 kids to 7 kids in just a year. We had our third child, then twin sons only 11 months apart,. Then right after having the twins were born, we took in 2 foster children. Then my husband died on me a few years later. Trust me, it will shock you what you can handle as a mother! That guitar you made for David is awesome!! Great idea.
My parents would've had a shit fit if I had written or scribbled on the walls lol. It's nice that you and David are supportive of Asher doing that, at least in the garage.
