I really didn't believe Gal Gadot would make a good Wonder Woman when it was first announced. I was wrong. She's done an incredible job with the role. Her portrayal is probably the only thing that made "Justice League" mildly tolerable. It's gonna be a shame if the writers and directors screw up the character and make no mistake: it will be them and not her who screw it up.
She's done great.
She is still a horrible WW. Only people who like her are people who like her looks, that's it. She poses in most of her scenes--the stances, the stupid looks she does with her face. Also, no body to speak of.

As someone pointed out it is the director who asks for that certain look and she got paid for it unlike you and guaranteed there are a shit load of people who would rather look at her than you.
I think Gal Gadot has done a great job. She still thin but not the skinny beanpole she was in the Fast and the Furious movies. She doesn't need to be a muscle-bound freak to be believable either. Her acting is improving. She can't really do much about her accent but then again it fits the character since Themescara (sp) is a Mediterranean island. Despite all that I still think that Jaimie Alexander (Lady Sif from the first two Thor movies) probably would have been better in the role but we'll never know
I work at a gym. I train men and women in working out, eating right, all that. I see women every single day who look mighty fine both in face and body--TONED women with actual muscle, not sticks like Gadot. She is and will always be a horrendous choice for a "Wonder" Woman.

I love how the lasso of Hestia reveals their honest expression rather than a robotic monotonous monologue. It's a very good detail they didn't have to add but did
I love how they showed how fast she is (faster than a speeding bullet) here compared to the comics and the animated series.
It does slightly bother me she doesn't do any of that in the Wonder Woman film though. In the village or alleyway scene, she's still fighting the human foes one by one. She should tear them apart like Superman, not one-by-one like a Jackie Chan movie.

That is literally why I looked up this clip. It's a pretty cool shot. Everything with her in this movie is gold. I also liked the slow-mo stuff with Barry Allen and (please don't shoot me) the Shakespearean over-the-top theatrics in Steppenwolf's line delivery. Something about his histrionics pleases me.

well firstly.... I think Gal is fantastic as WW.....huge fan.
now for my unpopular opinion....although I dislike Ben Affleck...I think he is personally a total douche-bag....I actually really like his Batman character.
Any fault is really with the writers and director...Ben did a good job.
Blame the director who took over and did terrible reshoots and cut all the important and good parts out, Snyder was going to make it a 2 part movie.

Out of the six heroes in this movie, Wonder Woman gets the most badass entrance. I love where the brackets redirected the bullets

I really don't get the hate on CGI. I really don't. Movie makers wouldn't be able to do super hero movies without them. Certainly no super hero that has abilities that can't be duplicated otherwise. Without CGI, Hulk would be no better than the lame Bill Bixby TV series Hulk, just some body builder in green body paint. Totally lame. And frankly, the WW TV series was just as lame.

Gal gadot made me fall in love with WW...I think she's been the best that's played the character. I also don't know why people are complaining about her looks...I mean she's drop dead gorgeous so there's nothing to complain about

That's what I don't understand. Like she may not be quite as fast as Superman but she still should've been able to see him coming at her like that when he grabbed her arms. She should've also been able to counteract and break free from his grip even though he's stronger. She's supposed to be a warrior after all and one with super strength. A shame that when Flash or Superman are in this movie, all of a sudden they power down her strength and speed.

The God killer struggling like this. Her super speed, agility, strength, atom breaking sword, momentum etc were suppressed.
In order to show imp of Superman, then underpowered everyone.
The greatest detective was unprepared without any plans, gadgets, even less than in BvS.
Aquaman was almost unless, had they used his power over ocean, sea creatures etc.
The whole movie was "you need Superman, and if you have Superman, you don't need justice league,"
Gal Gadot has to be one of the very most beautiful women to have lived.
Her portrayal of Diana/ Wonder Woman is probably the best of all the characters in the league followed by Jason Mamoa as Aquaman. I hope at least both of these actors return in any possible sequel.

Zack Snyder is such a visionary director. Every single shot in this scene is something straight from a comic book.
oh she got an amazing speed! im impressed with how her end the terrorism within a minutes. im also impressed with her in this scene 3:01-3:11. the hostages left untouch and unhurt with her action. i love how her save people without making a single person die .

In Superman v Batman, WW was awesome too. She was fighting Doomsday easily, cutting of his limbs, striking him with considerable force and easily got back up when he struck her down. Doomsday is more powerful than superman. Apart from this scene (in this video), WW was depowered and superman was overpowered far too much. It just made this film flop! A shame really cause DC has so much potential.

+Albert Marcea Don't get me wrong. I think it's a great power set that Synder added that wasn't comic lore; the same way that the spin Lynda Carter did for the TV show wasn't, but she depended on that power too much! For her to have to depend on just that for me is bogus as she's certainly strong enough to hold her own against anyone without them being her go to every time she's faced with a dilemma, even with Superman. When you look at BatmanVSuperman and her own movie, you can count the times she did that (twice in her movie, and once in the other). In the Justice League movie, it just felt overdone to me in very much the same way the Superfriends cartoon had her use her lasso way too much for my tastes. She's so much more than those weapons. If she didn't have her lasso, sword, and shield she would still be a force to be reckoned with. All Superman had to do was grab her arms to keep her subdued? Not buying that at all. She's a warrior and should've been able to break free with her martial skill, despite his superior strength.

People seem to forget that Batman and Superman have sworn various oaths to never kill someone. Diana is an Amazon, a warrior, and has no such hindrance. Whether her killing was justified or not, this guy needed a Golden Lasso noose.

Richard Gillard - Clone X have a listen to the score composed for Wonder Woman by Rupert Gregson-Williams. This was butchered. The whole score for Justice League is very forgettable unfortunately
I just like it because it's more heroic than Junkie's theme. I also feel like you're downgrading the score a bit too much. Sure it isn't memorable, but you play me a snippet, I'll recognize it and get to enjoy it. And at least it's somewhat new instead of the repetitive stock drum music they kept playing in Man of Steel and BvS.
