That teapot!!! Wow. What a great find! Love the big basket, too. I took a Tunisian crochet class just this week and learned how terrible I am at crocheting. 😂
The teapot: when I was in high school (2012) my then boyfriend's mom had a flea market store space (one of those permanent indoor ones) where she sold those weird fruit and veg dishes. I thought they were weird and ugly, but she would pay me to work the store sometimes and I would shill it to anyone who showed interest. Just imagine a 20'x10' stall filled floor to ceiling with cups, bowls, plates, mugs, platters, pitchers, teapots, salt and pepper shakers and more in that same style of highly detailed, saturated glossy ceramics shaped like all sorts of vegetables and fruits. I never knew how she got it all or why that specific specialty. I think it just was something she had going one day and then disappeared just a quietly another day. She also did Mary Kay and other random side hustles, so it wasn't too surprising for her.
I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to Indianapolis. I've been to a couple of things in our capital building and found it beautiful, too. Good visit yoday. Thank you.
i taught myself to crochet using the sigoni macaroni youtube channel. she has a playlist of about 12 videos that form a "crochet masterclass". i still sometimes have trouble finding my beginning of round when crocheting so i tend to use a lot more stitch markers when crocheting than i do when knitting.
Yay!! Congratulations, Kate!!! This episode was lovely, as always!! That wicker basket is amazing!! I love that it has a lid!!!!!!!!!

Almost spat out a mouthful of tea when you showed us the teapot 😅😂
It’s the ugliest prettiest thing? I don’t even know how to describe it 🤣🤣🤣
Or prettiest ugliest thing? 🤔😁
I would love a crochet playlist or maybe a little “knitter’s who want to learn crochet group” lmk where you decide to take the class!
Hello from Swansea, Illinois. This is my first time watching your podcast and I really enjoyed it, so I subscribe to it.
