It's always amazing when someone who is listening to you lives in the moment instead of trying to figure out what they going to say next. It changes the whole conversation and makes you feel heard in a way that is indescribable. I try to do it but many times fail.

This week is a F Me week. Monday morning I woke up thinking it was a normal day and when I went into the kitchen I heard the water on at the kitchen sink and I run downstairs where I keep my spinning wheel and I found flooding. I grabbed my Spinning Wheel and put it on and ran to turn off the water. As of Last Night it was still dripping water and I still have flooding which I will be cleaning up today along with cleaning in general. My plans for a new Spinning Wheel is put off so I can work on a space to put everything including my books.

Your ranunculus is lovely. Alice Hoffman is a lovely writer , I’m a long time fan and didn’t realize the movie was based off the book I’d read until well over half . The vibes are very different between the two . Just a thought . I hope you enjoy .

Oh my gosh, I'm totally with you on forgetting to submit to the state fair!! I thought the deadline was the last day in July, so I did the procrastination anxiety thing, too! Turns out the deadline was the 2nd to last day of July... sigh. There's always next year, I guess!

Girl, you have an AMAZING wardrobe in the making! 🔥 Knitting a sweater for someone as an auction item is incredibly generous, too. You are not alone with the colorwork cuff fit issue. I cannot get colorwork socks over my heels. AT ALL. I have tried all the tricks - inside out, larger needles, small circulars, DPNs, stretching the stitches out, holding the float out with my finger to give it more slack. I have a pretty high instep and I think colorwork socks are just not for me. I will need to join a colorwork toe club instead.

The get togethers you've been hosting look so vibrant and have such great energy!! I plan on joining in on your sweater weather MAL! LOVE LOVE LOVE your sewing journey. That blue foliage Ashton is SO COOL. I'm wondering if you could open the side seams up a until it's the length you like (and then sew around that opening) so that you could wear it more tunic-style if it's too long?? That GINGHAM! Your colorwork socks are so cute! I love your colour choice. Turning the colorwork inside while knitting helps regulating the floats because then they have a longer way around the cuff. Also for many knitters there's a gauge difference between magic loop and dpns, you could try to change your needle type for this section.

So I was in Northfield that day I had to exchange a skein of yarn and the reason why I didn't attend is that like I said would happen Skyla Doordash and I had to take her along or else I wouldn't be able to go Northfield Yarn. Could I have called Sara and see if Skyla could attend with me and got everyone's okay Yeah I could have. I am working with Skyla not to door dash and it's a slow process and something I am working on again with Skyla. I could walk around with Skyla giving her one of the biggest walks of the day and socializing along with meeting some human friends, but I didn't want to hurt those who are afraid of dogs or allergic to dogs or those who don't like dogs to feel put out.
