i've always wanted to knit somethng with yarn using recycled sari silk. I've used it a few times in weaving projects and I love all the vibrant jewel tones. it looks beautiful in the cardigan. the ranunculus looked like the most interesting shade of pink, and it totally made sense when you showed that it was achieved combining pink and orange. i love it!

Dress patterns are made for a B cup, so if your bustline is larger, add length (yes, length) to the front of the bodice. You don't have to add that length to the back. The extra length will make the dress hang level when you wear it.

If you don't have enough fabric to make the straps on Esti wider, add ribbon trim to one or both sides of the existing straps. I also sew a snap loop made from twill tape and snaps into the shoulder seam of sleeveless items. It's a 3" piece of twill tape, hemmed on both ends with the center of the strip sewn down perpendicular to the shoulder seam. Put one side of a snap on one end, and the matching snap on the other end. You can easily make a full dress less full by making the tier less wide. Also, gather it with two rows of long basting stitch on your machine, and pull it to the right length (the length of the previous tier).

love the podcast today. Your sweater turned out so nice. 😊 i also have a tendency to try and finish a sewing project at one sitting i like the outcome when i am finished. Nice job on your sewing and spinning

I love seeing all the sewing projects! I want to sew a dress this year, but starting a sewing project seems to require a lot more time and space than starting a knitting project. Glad you were able to see the Northern Lights! Looking forward to future bathtub vlogcasts.

I feel the same way about sewing, takes up so much more space! But, it usually is a bit quicker than a knit project, so that is fun. =]

The fabric and colour for your Ranunculus is just so good ! And I also just sew the Sid Tye Dress, it does look massive when it's not all put together yet but I'd say trust the process, it really is not that big afterwards (the only ginormous thing on this dress is the pockets, and we're here for it!) !

Omg okay there's a Mexican malt shop in Richfield called Michoacana Tasty. They have this mangonada that is TO DIE FOR. I know it's sorbet and not ice cream but I highly highly recommend!! Thanks for sharing all of your adventures! When I'm feeling homesick I watch your videos and it is such a treasure 🥰
