    Wow! My daughter bought home boxes of Himalayan Salt and said they were cheap in our local shop. I was wondering what to do with them. Now you've given me another project. Looks like an awesome gift. Thank you again !!

    Simple effective and minimum mess and effort! I’ve tried in the past to make rock salt candles using water and oil in jars from other RUclipss as they look really nice. End result….. messy as heck time consuming and… well. If you get the mix wrong the end result goes in bin.
    This is the quickest and easiest way to sent ones home with added bonus of gift ideas for family and friends.
    Thank you 🙏

    You have such a lovely way of presenting. I love the idea as its natural and better than toxic chemical smells. I have tonnes of epsom salts, so will try it. A home really needs nice scents to make it feel good.

    How long can I burn it? Will it get roasted? I suppose you replace it when there is no more smell. Can we reuse the burnt salt and add essential oil for next use? Sorry for the list of questions. Thanks in advance.

      The salt wont burn but will eventually stop smellung. Yu could actually re-use the salt and add more scent to it if you wanted to :)

    Lovely, thank you. How is this different than just pouring essential oil or fragrance directly onto the burner? Thanks again

    • @SoapSchoolUK
      @SoapSchoolUK  2 года назад +5

      The essential oils would generally scorch if used directly. This can alter the scent but the salt absorbs the oil and it diffuses more gently :). Many years ago people would add the oil to water above a tealight but it isn't as strong as this method for me
