We can all have a difference of opinion here. I commented that Klaus Voorman thought she was ahead of her time, and appreciated what she was trying to do with her vocal improvisations.
Thanks guys. I read that rehearsing on the plane was "easy" according to Clapton/Voorman. John had his hollow body electric they grouped around him, and a 5 or so hour flight gave them enough time...i think they sounded great as a result. Dont worry kyoko is a 3 chord (e-g-a) progression with accents buildups breakdowns on the riff. John commented at the time "i was throwing up during cold turkey. I dont know how i got through it."...and.. "dont worry kyoko is the heaviest piece of rock ever!" Also ...coicidence or not...russ gibb lighting fire to jan 1967 dirk mcquickly is dead story a few weeks after interacting with Ron Nasty & Chasity at Toronto hehehe. Hmmm
I believe the “bag of feathers” that Alice Cooper threw into the audience was actually a live chicken that ended up on stage. Alice threw it back into the crowd. The audience proceeded to tear it apart, which began the myth, which Alice said he perpetuated for publicity sake, that he bit the head off a live chicken.
From what I can tell from the film, it was both. He had a bag of feathers, which was part of the show, but someone also handed him a live chicken, which he threw into the audience after the bag of feathers.
Jeez. I’ve listened to the show for years. The hosts used to talk about the same amount of time. Recently, one of the hosts tends to talk, talk, talk. Sometimes I skip 5 or ten minutes ahead and he’s still talking. Let the other two have a chance. lol
I agree. I have listened to the show for years and like it with reservations. I think spending ten minutes introducing themselves each episode is a bit much. I have already posted many times, to no avail, about my difference of opinion of what is considered "news". They also follow a rule which is never to criticize anything in fear that they may be struck by lightning which I find amusing...:)
Great information, as always. Thank you.
I like the radio show I used to listen to it on the radio when I was a teen and I still lbs in my shedd
I bet Clapton was embarrassed supporting Yoko's noise
and You have the option of not watching, unlike Clapton.

@@kenmichaelsradio748 Not to upset the boomers, but, beauty is objective. What she did was vile.
@@matthewashman1406 And art is subjective. Many people, first generation and newer fans, think Yoko is extremely talented.

Thank you for pronouncing "Toronto" correctly, Darren!
Loved the McCartney Legacy Part1 book! Great research done on that Hopefully Part 2 doesn’t turn into the Mark Lewhison fiasco and is released soon
Thanks. Volume 2 is scheduled for release December 10.
Excellent show gentlemen. I feel John had to liberate himself for the individual careers to thrive. Their Solo work is amazing & had to happen.
Thanks, Gino. I couldn't agree more!

I think the reason for "missing" footage was licensing. Almost all of these festivals' record releases suffer from these.

Or, go elsewhere. People don't have to make their podcasts to suit you.

Or he could express his opinion, just like you.

Not into Yoko at all.
Don't watch then
