Pretty good review. The feel of the car may vary depending from the car's bushings and the suspension. With those plus having a sway bar(front/ rear) and adding some rear struts should be a different feel going through the driving line or aiming for the apex. Stay safe and god bless.
I did notice a difference on my Na when I fitted one, but that's probably because the old cars didn't have as much strength in the chassis as your car , but it does look cool LOL 😀 cheers bro
Good review. There are before and after videos on RUclips. They make a difference especially on non-sports cars (non-Miatas) which are higher from the ground, thus have more body roll stock.
Those cars may have macpherson suspension which gets helped by strut braces. The MX5 is a double wishbone setup, which doesn't need the strut bar to much. Its more of eye candy actually.
All anecdotal. I want to see someone actually test one scientifically. I would put pointers on the strut towers that meet at the middle of the engine bay and then i would record the relative movement of the pointers with and without a strut brace.
Bling or function? What do you think?
Thanks for the honesty, I’ve been keenly waiting on your review/thoughts.
It helps if you dont plan on lowering. It reduces the wobble when you do sudden steering.

Is deleting sound tube necessary to make an aftermarket brace fit?
Thanks! I'm looking for reviews and thoughts and i saw this. Im still hesitate to buy expensive bars.
It's not clear; did you go from NO strut brace to the aftermarket one, or did you replace the stock brace with the aftermarket one?
No brace to aftermarket

Did the handling of your NA improve with the bar? Or was it also more for increased rigidity up front like what happened with Scarlet?
@@ReygansRides increased rigidity ( reduced chassis flex)equates to improvement in handling generally.
@@ReygansRides did you need another part (air cowl panel) to do the install? Who did the installation?

Very good insights as always! Where do you source the Cusco parts in PH?
CarShack Makati is the official distributor for Cusco in the Ph.
@@ReygansRides thanks, buddy! Looking forward to more Scarlet stories!
It seems like the older cars benefit from it and the newer ones don't really need it
Thanks for the video
I like that freakin t-shirt. I would like a strut tower bar for my NB. They say it makes a difference on the old Miatas.
Some day...
Thanks! It's a souvenir from the Singapore Grand Prix. 👍

Strut bar or sway bar?
Sway bar. 👍
Sway bar. Strut bar is a waste of $
They are if they have hinges and/or thin pieces of metal.
@@gtstwincam strut bar is not a waste on my G37x. I felt the difference in going over bumps train tracks and lane changes 💪🏾
The way you hold your steering wheel triggered me...
That's not how I hold the wheel while racing, of course.
