Samuel i have been following your utube posts and am so greatfull for the way that you describe all the ways you paint your landscapes i wish you did workshops here in Brisbane Qld. I have learned so much from your posts please keep it up you are such a brilliant teacher. Regards Keith
I’m a plein aire acrylic painter and to get a richer feeling, slower drying paint I mix a slow dry gel into Liquitex Heavy Body . To me Golden Open feels “slimy” and dries too flat and too slow.
Hello sam I am from India. I want to know that why you used Alizarin crimson in your paintings but it is known to fade when exposed to ultraviolet light. Sometimes you used quinacridone magenta. What is difference between these two colours or which one is the best?
Thanks for this great lesson 😊

Really great art work! Looks like you are there looking at it!
Looks amazing. I'm one of many, who struggles with greens.
I love the fibrant colors you used in this painting. Especially, the greens to the left at the hills are catching my eyes.

Painting with oils is the opposite to watercolors. From dark to light.
Becoming more accomplished with every painting Sam.
