I love the fibrant colors you used in this painting. Especially, the greens to the left at the hills are catching my eyes.

    Hello sam
I am from India. I want to know that why you used Alizarin crimson in your paintings but it is known to fade when exposed to ultraviolet light. Sometimes you used quinacridone magenta. What is difference between these two colours or which one is the best?

Can you review Golden open acrylics and see if they're a good alternative to oils

I’m a plein aire acrylic painter and to get a richer feeling, slower drying paint I mix a slow dry gel into Liquitex Heavy Body . To me Golden Open feels “slimy” and dries too flat and too slow.

Painting with oils is the opposite to watercolors. From dark to light.
