I have said it for years but stalkers are the most dangerous type of person on earth if you are the victim. No law, no police action and absolutely no warnings will stop them. If it comes to the day they decide to kill you, they will never stop until they are in jail, dead or they win. We need to do more to support people.

Even if he never contacts her again, that level of fear that he's infected her with could take years or a lifetime to overcome, not even mentioning how much stress it causes and energy it drains. He got 7 months, but he's definitely taken away more from her.

Always wondered what goes through the mind of a stalker? What do they think they will achieve by stalking someone, and putting them in such a dangerous situation, eventually getting right into their head? I will never understand.

Thanks Stacey your documentaries are Brilliant! I have know both a man and a woman who have been seriously stalked by their x-partner. And when I was was doing my technical training I had a stalker but he was deterred by a few friends of mine. I was very lucky.
My other two friends were not so lucky.

Why is he being let out early when he's barely served his sentence?
I suppose from the judge's point of view he hasn't harmed anyone physically and he didn't make physical threats to harm. But he has harmed! By stalking this woman, he has psychologically harmed her because she feels so unsafe and is scared to even sleep! That's so scary and harmful and it will take months perhaps years to undo the damage done.
This applies to any stalker victim, man or woman. The harm that is afflicted is psychological and whilst it cannot be quantifiably measured like with physical injuries, it doesn't mean it matters less! So if they get a sentence they need to carry it out to the end.
It's not a severe crime like murder. You can't put people away for 10 years for being a creepy stalker just cos they MIGHT be a crazy murderer.
But I think 5-7 years should be the minimum for stalking conviction especially for cases where the victim has been made to feel unsafe in their own house.

What an awful piece of crap.
Stalkers are so incredibly dangerous, because of whatever emotional / mental health reasons that they've formed these incredibly unhealthy attachments to their targets (Because that's sadly what they've become) and once you've gone from being a literal angel walking the earth to the most evil person who has hurt or "wronged" them.
And the often either lackadaisical or indifferent attitudes that the police have towards these cases doesn't help at all either, because then not only do these poor people feel like they're very much on their own in these situations, but they are as far as support and security goes.
in some ways it's better off that the dangers and behaviours are caught out early and that separation happens sooner rather than later when not only will they have integrated themselves deeper in their lives but also gained information, maybe obtained passwords, cut keys etc, but also then the perceived wrongdoing by their target telling them that they no longer want to be with them is SO much worse.
There's so much more that should be done about keeping not just the women and men in these situations safe, but overall anyone who is vulnerable for whatever reason.
Really hoping that things begin to improve for this poor girl and this guy leaves her alone ( But also not because he's found someone else to target, which sadly is often the case)
Please, stay safe out there everyone and remember, you are worth and deserving of so much more.

I’d rather be dead than with the man who’s stalking me . He misread my niceness as interest. 😢 and now he won’t leave me alone . He’s so starved of attention and love he wanted believe I loved him the fool the mind will convince itself lies just to protect the heart and ego . He’s a lonely old man and he always will be if he doesnt stop this behaviour and work on himself and move on . He willl never be with me . Never ever ever ever ever . Until he knows This he won’t leave me alone . He can’t control his obsession . He isn’t doing this Becaue I’m so gorgeous he’s doing it Becaue I was nice to him and he isn’t use to that . His ego is damaged and he is damaged I hate him and will never be with him . He wants bully me into a relationship but I will never ever consent to being with him he makes me sick repulses me and angers me he thinks everyone is stopping him from happiness and being with me he doesn’t realise . Il never ever be with him ever ever ever ever ever be with him . There’s nothing he can ever do to change my mind even if he was my type of hate him after what he’s don’t to me but what makes it worse is 1 I don’t find him attractive and 2 he’s been nasty and sadistic towards me . Il never see him or want him as a partner . He’s a poor excuse for a human . Do I need tell the world he’s a stalker and that I don’t want him . He’s pushing me to let everyone know how much he repulses me . All Becaue he read my nice nature as intrest and attraction . Zero attraction. No way. Not interested never will be . He can lie and isolate me il never be his .

Thrre are all types of Stalkers even ones that use thier own prorperty for Stalking and Harrasment. This crime is rapidly on the Rise and the actions and crimes are not being taken seriouse by the Police in the early stages. However this can at times be due to the filter system being blocked by any PCSOs interactions and the way they are allowed to access and use personal judgements over legal judgements and walk away from a Victim without escalating the harm to a higger level.
The rights of the Victim imto protect themselves is severly challenged and there needs to be Clearer guidelines for the Police regarding the collection of Stalking and Harrasment evidence for both Civil and Criminal proceedings.
Civil evidence can be collected differently to Criminal Evidence.
However the Police feel they have the power to stop a person protecting themselves by stopping them gathering civil evidence where and when the Police fail to protect a Harrassed or Stalked Victim.
If the Police fail to protect a Victim then that Victim must be allowed to do what ever they need to do to create the path for thier own civil procedings for protection.
Evidence collecting of a perpertrator can be a Criminal act by police standards the perpertrators human rights are being protected over and above rhe victims. Especially if the perpertrator is Stalking or Harrasing you from thier own private land where they can watch and hunt you from thier own property.
The Victims are mostly alone through this and they often struggle to have any witnesses. This Police action to choose to not allow the recording of rvidence in the early stages of harrasment or stalking due to the perpetrators reports that thier victim has a camera, then places the victim at a greater threat of having escalated unrecorded actions made against them.
The Victims are then left with the inability to get the protection orders needed to keep them safe due to lack of evidence.
It has been proven many times that early recorded evidence can be used before a escalted physical attack takes place.
This situation of Police Control and threats of arresting Victims of Stalking and Harrasment needs more clarity as the Police are leaving harrased and stalked victims at a higher risk.
If the Police wish to take this route and leave Victims at risk and not having the resources to take the private route necessary then the Police must take Harrasment and Stalking more Seriouse in the very early stages.

Being cyber stalked while overseas, he’s doing the offence from Sussex U.K. but I’d have to go to police here. There’s the language barrier and police in the U.K. just gave me the brush off. I also reported him for rape and sexual assault of which he was investigated and ended with him having a criminal record for life. I’m the only victim to come forward so stronger action couldn’t be taken as historic. He’s a martial arts instructor and still teaches 😑 safeguarding removed his status with them as they haven’t been able to prove dbs checks out where he’s also down as a welfare officer! He’s probably reading this very message - it’s hard not to feel worried all the time. 😢
