Just got back to playing my guitar after a few years (having been in a group in the 60/70’s), having had a stroke in which I found I couldn’t get the rhythm right. Luckily for me, I have just changed my electric guitar for an acoustic guitar. Now just listening to the Wilbury’s , been a fan for a number of years, it has given me a real buzz. Looking forward to your instructions. Great tips. Thanks.

Really cool and thank you for the lesson. It would be a nice touch if you could provide a suggestion for playing a melody/little lead line or two that tracks the vocal melody(ies) - I know we should be sorting that out ourselves. But a little bit of guidance on how that can be constructed (on this song or any) goes a long way and beats just trying to fit arps/pentx over the chords. Would love your guidance on that! Thanks, Justin.

I already play ‘Handle with Care’ (though I pick most of it because I find strumming not as easy…that’s what comes of being self-taught. I did it back to front!) so I’m pleased to add this one. Getting those bass notes right is harder than I expected though. 😀

I have the original sheet music of this song. In error, all over RUclips, everyone is teaching the use of the e-minor triad at the 12th fret … it is a actually an a-major triad. Whilst e-minor is in key, it is not used at all in this song. Rewatch George Harrison in the official video, and you’ll see he uses the a-major triad, all whilst wearing the slide on his pinky.
