I run the ALFII280 in my nr200 and am basically waiting for the glacier280. So far the Arctic is good enough for a 5900X&3080 combo. The tubing is a tight fit
Thanks for checking in! Yeah the LF IIs are very much a tight fit, partly because of the tubing on the pump head. The Phanteks was a little easier for tubing management because of the elbows.
That's a freaking cool AIO. It's pricey though for an 240. Just bought a fractal lumen and bottom mounted it in my NR200P. Keep up the great work bro and stay safe. Can't wait for your lian li Q58 review.
@@rikipatel4340 The main power input (for the water pump) is located on the back of the radiator so no problem with this AIO. Temps are even better when side mounted.
I set up 2 T30’s in push/pull on the stock Asetek AIO 120mm radiator in my Alienware Aurora R14 and my CPU never ever goes over 77c! I also replaced all 3 stock fans with Noctua nf 12x25. With the stock fans my cpu (5900X) would often stay between 86-93. The difference is insane!
Hi, thanks for another great review. I was wondering why there aren’t many reviews of this AIO but the pump noise issue may be the reason. Hopefully, it is just a bad batch. Do you think that the extra thickness will affect FE GPU’s with the new flow through cooler in the NR200 case? It doesn’t look like there is a lot of space for air to go through.
bought 3 x T30 fans, one was DOA the other has an awful motor noise, didn't even get to properly test them, plus they're louder than NF-A12x25... I decided to try the based on the good reviews but guess what. Noctua is just superior yet again.
10:35 the reason why i i had to return it sadly :/ it was way to load and even at really low rpm. Replaced it with a H100I XT Pro and im now trying to source some T30 for it but they are sold out everywhere or overpriced af
Look at 1:00 how much wasted space there is between the functional size and the actual width of the fin stack. If that raised bracket is on both sides, that's probably 5 or 6mm of added space for no reason.
Great review, great to see the fans perform well in pull I’ve been looking for some tests! I’m very interested to see how they compare to the NF-A12 with its gasket in pull, any chance of a follow up on that? Looking to upgrade my X53 fans in my NCASE.
@Daisudori Have you guys seen the prices now of the T30 $40 I've been trying to purchase 9 x fans and after purchasing them they send me an email saying sorry out of stock then I have to wait 3 days for a refund of $330 that happened twice once from Amazon and from Phanteks themselves. That is $650 of my money waiting to get back because of price manipulation bs. Meanwhile the prices went from $28.99 to $39.99 then all of the sudden they are back in stock but at a higher price while other locations with the lower price is still out of stock. For some reason I saw the NZXT I was thinking of the Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM fan which sounds it best at 1200 but I see it is not even in the picture because they do not make a all in system fair enough. But I would say 99% of us buy the NZXT and use the Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM fan with it. But I am sure Phanteks would not approve the video since they block everything else comments on Amazon and Newegg. Try leaving a negative remark even if you purchase from them and it will not be seen.
I did notice the price fluctuations as well, that’s troubling if so. One thing, Phanteks does not have any say into the review content or testing methods, so I test and report on what I find is relevant (they don’t have to “approve” it). I tested these T30 fans against the Noctuas and they came out ahead at lower speeds in the review of the fans, but they were virtually tied at 2000 RPM. Thanks for checking in with the feedback.
@I love you but Thank you for the information just extremely frustrated on the matter and you would think spending $1k over retail for my RTX 3090 FE would have been it but the overall fun factor of buying these fans has turned out to be a buzz kill thinking of sending them back for the Darkside Gentle Typhoons pwm and be done with it.
This is exactly why i will be sticking to Air cooling or anything other than ASETEK garbage, always noisy, always failing always sueing everyone -what a horrible company. Phanteks has done an amazing job building these fans but i cannot back any Asetek garbage ever again... If they come out with a new generation of air coolers with these fans i think that would be a sweet combo, or just bolt them onto your existing non-asetek cooling solution...;)
I've noticed the neo magnets on the RGB pump cover affect the pump speed quite significantly. They must slow the impeller down with the magnetic field they output (check your pump RPM when you connect the cover, it drops by around 500rpm)
Nice review but I miss graphs showing temp vs noise for each AIO, for example Glacier T30 full 3000rpm will give 50db+ and which temp ? Re pump speed I'd put mine on a separate header and at flat 90% on my Alphacool Eisbaer 280, really don't hear anything

a little surprise with the result NZXT X53+T30, it runs almost the same performance with stock Glacier ONE T30. does that means 38mm rad actually not help at all, because 38mm rad is the main reason to stop me to use it, definitely not so friendly to ITX case
Yup, the thicker rad will yield less gains if the airflow is more choked off in the real case. The difference between a 27 and 38 is small, anyway. Fans are doing the heavy lifting.
I really wanted to love this aio, however as mentioned the pump is just too annoying (for me anything over 40% pump speed was terrible) . It doesn’t really matter, the clearance is what matters, especially on smaller boards.
