O Charlie tentou convencer a Claire e o Eko que não sabia que havia heroína dentro das estátuas. Aí não sei se você lembra mas existe uma cena deletada que a Claire procura pelo Sayid e o encontra isolado e de luto pela morte da Shannon. Aí a Claire pergunta se o Charlie sabia o que tinha dentro das imagens da Virgem Maria e que precisa saber pois o Charlie está cuidando do seu bebê. Provavelmente o Sayid deve ter confirmado que "sim" pois o Charlie descobriu a existência dessas imagens quando foram juntos tentar recuperar o Aaron quando foi levado pela Rousseau. Por isso que no final do episódio quando ele volta ao acampamento, a Claire está separando as coisas dele querendo distância.
Concordo. Também acho muito interessante toda essa conexão entre os personagens. Como o avião beechcraft que saiu da Nigeria 3 anos antes da queda do Oceanic 815 e foi parar de alguma forma misteriosa no mesmo lugar onde o Eko iria cair também, ele ter de alguma forma alguns problemas com o Yemi assim como o Charlie teve com o Liam. Ele e o Charlie estarem ligados as drogas e a mesma religião também. E acho incrível como os roteiristas já tinham tudo planejado pois como sabemos no episódio 1x19 o Boone o Locke encontraram um dinheiro nigeriano e uma pistola um pouco antes de encontrarem o beechcraft.
Verdade, André! Interessantes demais essas conexões entre eles, essa de tanto o Charlie como o Eko terem tido desavenças com os irmãos eu nunca tinha pensado! E todo o arco desse avião, desde o 1x19 realmente é fantástico!
Probably my favorite of the season or top 3 at least. What an episode. The unexpected backstory of Eko that also connects him to the plane and the Island mysteriously, so well-written and so intriguing. Him ending up being actually a priest by his brother's forced signature after he literally said my signature won't make you a priest. You can take it like it did make him a priest or you can take it like the signature didn't but Yemi's later actions and death made him a priest, like a trade, saved Eko from that life in exchange of Yemi's life. The exact opposite of what happened in their childhood. The airport scene is a little confusing at first but the writers worked their magic to leave Eko behind and military mistakenly believing him to be a real priest. Yemi ending up on the plane after alerting the millitary. You know it's gonna happen, you're sure he'll somehow end up in the plane as soon as you see Eko checking for the necklace on the dead "priest" bodies, but you can never figure out how it's gonna happen until you see it and it happens the most tragic way. [SPOILER-ISH: Vague note to Rodrigo] To Rodrigo: Please remember Locke seeing the crash of this small plane in his dream in the first season and talk about it when it's related, you'll know the time :) It's not a big deal for the plot but I really like the idea :)
You perfectly described how brilliant and sensitive this episode is. Really remarkable one. Oh, alright, but now you got me curious haha... I can think of a couple of scenes where that might be useful. Hopefully I can get it right 😄

It's about maybe how Locke was be able to see that dream without even consicously knowing there was another crashed plane on the island at the time. :) I know it's a loooong road until then but I hope you'll remember to talk about it in the end of that episode :)
Só um adendo,Locke correu da segunda vez Pq Jack o assustou e ele correu,mas da primeira vez Locke não correu e a encarou,além dele não ter sentido medo também,ao contrário disso,ele ficou maravilhado provavelmente por ter visto flashes da sua vida na fumaça assim como o eko e só viu coisas belas pq Locke é uma pessoa do bem
Sim, Joás, da primeira vez ele encarou maravilhado... da segunda vez ele olhou pra fumaça e sentiu muito medo... o que nos leva a crer que nesse primeira vez ele viu algo diferente do que da segunda vez (nessa segunda claramente era a fumaça).

And no, I don't believe it's true when Eko said he wanted to get the drugs out of the country. I think he was selling it for profit. That's why the guy with the gold tooth kicked him out of the plane, he wanted the money for himself. Gabi: how does this happen, who are the chosen ones to come to this island? SPOILER Nesse episódio, a fumaça ainda achava que Eko poderia ser útil para seus propósitos, ela poderia usar o passado dele pra mexer com a mente dele e manipula-lo. Já naquele outro episódio, Eko "desafiou" a fumaça, dizendo que não se arrepende do que fez (assim, a fumaça não conseguiria manipula-lo, pois ele já estava decidido que fez o certo em sua vida).
