Honestly it amazes me How well written how well structured and how deep the show was for kids. Like with Batman they did not treat kids like they were stupid. There was complexity, character, there was references to Shakespeare! I cannot say one bad thing about the show except that it ended
My brother & I grew up watching Gargoyles alongside all the other equally awesome Disney Afternoon shows like Tale Spin, Aladdin, Duck Tales, Gummi Bears, Chip & Dale: Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, Goof Troop, Marsupalani, Quack Pack, etc. Ahhhh those were the days folks.
Own the DVD Sets, got Disney+, never get bored rewatching Gargoyles. I once heard rumors that they were going to do a spinoff series focusing on King Arthur leading the London-based Gargoyles, that would've been brilliant to see. Hope that Greg Weisman will revisit that idea in the near future in the comic books🤞🤞

It’s great to see one of Disney’s greatest animated shows get their own variant video especially while a new comic book series is made with help from the show’s creator, but still nonetheless a Gargoyles “reboot”, sequel or movie project is more than welcomed to happen along with Keith David reprising voice work as Goliath

Gargoyles was one of my favorite cartoons. I didn't know it was in paperback, and back with new stories. I'm going to follow along with you as you share the other episodes with us. This is exciting, walking down memory lane.

The best part of the show to me as a kid was seeing the Gargoyles smash their claws into the concrete as the climbed buildings. That shit was gangsta 💯
I'm so glad this series gets to continue. I need to personally catch up and while I don't normally read comics, I will gladly buy these.
I didn't grow up with the cartoon since I was born in the 2000s (great era of cartoons by the way) but now with Disney+ I'm able to watch past Disney cartoons like Gargoyles. And I find myself really liking the show, I'm still on the first season of the show.

I remember growing up my babysitter would always put on Gargoyles for me to watch while her and her boyfriend went up to my parents room to 'clean'.
Little did they know I had quite the imagination. I didn't need to see anything.
The sounds were more than enough. She cleaned his knob spotless.

Decades ago Animation and Story ruled the day. It was a time of fun, it was the time for children, it was the age of cartoons. Calm by day hyper by night. We looked in awe as our shows played. Canceled by cooperate owners who did not understand us. But now in the 2020's the cooperate realized us and we live AGAIN!! We were children of the night, we are 90s kids!

That was my internal dialogue when I saw The Gargoyles were back.
If ever they do a revival of Gargoyles in live-action format, I would want for *Christopher Judge* to be the one actor to portray Goliath (that is, if and only, REALLY *IF,* Disney really goes through with a live-action revival of Gargoyles as a TV show!). Judge has the physique and baritone chops to pull off his performance of that character, just as he had with Kratos in the God of War games (2018 and Ragnarok). Keith David and TC Carson respectively were just the voices for those characters over the spanned run of their respective franchises in their heyday, but if their mediums were to go to motion capture for video games AND live-action, they wouldn’t somehow, somewhat look the part for their characters. They are the best voices for their respective characters, Keith David in Gargoyles and TC Carson in God of War, God of War 2, and God of War 3; they were iconic, even legendary. But Christopher Judge, just like he has won Kratos as his new and best role, may as well win Goliath, should he himself choose to be involved with Disney in the distant future! 😁👍🏾

@@justinnyugen7015 - hard to even call it the "3rd season..." that's when it went from syndication to ABC Saturday morning with new staff but NOT the original creator (aside from the first episode). It was like a brand new show with the new opening and the subtitle "The Goliath Chronicles".

One of my favourite Disney TV Shows when I was a kid, the dark theme of this was just too good
this was an awesome show from my childhood glad its back in some form
I'm happy they continued this franchise in comic form. I remember this show coming on late all the time and I had a bedtime that mostly made me miss it. Fun fact: I found out only the first two seasons and the previous comic are canon to this current run.

The funny part is I grew up with this show and Batman the Animated Series. And now that you mention it it just makes me miss Kevin Conroy even more

Must i was stupid for a long time and didnt belive it was made by disney after an old aquiantece told me, but after watching it on disney+ i realised it was very epic for its time.looking forward for a return for a gargoyles animated series!

The most interesting part was how many Star Trek The Next Generation cast members did voices. They even got one of the OGs from TOS, Nichelle Nichols to voice Detective Maas's mother.

I love how Hudson and Nash have that Grandfather/Grandson type of relationship, going to watch celebrity hockey since one is too young to go on patrol and the other stays home to keep him company. I hope Nash will have his moment to shine, maybe save Maggie's child from Thalog.

Quite possibly the most criminally underrated and underutilized thing thing Disney has ever done. The sound design ALONE made the show unforgettable. The voice acting, the sounds of gargoyles breaking out of stone and roaring into the night, the distinctive differences between the male and female sounds, all of it was incredible.
