I recall learning Sweet Home Alabama either in 75 or 76. There was no RUclips to get great instruction from. You had to either watch other musicians or just figure it out. Excellent video for the learner. Well done.

Well... I have to say, I've never wanted to learn this song because I was never a "Southern Rock" fan. BUT, I always figured it would be a good finger exercise, and it is. I ran across your channel looking for "Mr Tambourine Man" because I was in a Byrds mood, which led me to your other beginner tutorials. A lot of it is quite basic, so your pace allows me to noodle around a bit as you teach beginners four count progressions. I was a bassist for years, and only played music I cared for, mostly original music after learning 60s and 70s stuff as a kid in the 70s. I retired from playing two decades ago, and after being invited to play a festival set with friends this year, picked up the guitar besides the bass. So, without going on any longer, thank you for really easy explanations of the nuances of these songs. I thought the riff on G started on G, but it's A of course. At 67, now I know a Lynyrd Skynyrd song on guitar! (don't tell anyone). 😁wooHOO! Thanks again, and take care.

I wasted most of my time working like a slave. I wish I would of used that time more productively and kept my guitar in my office. and not take a few to keep up with practicing.
