You can just scrape off the excess epoxy by lightly scraping over the design with a plastic dry wall tool. They’re cheap and you can sand them down ever so slightly to leave just enough left over to account for any shrinkage that may happen. It will save you a few sheets of sand paper and a significant amount of time on sanding.
That is true and I usually use a little less, although I only used about 35 grams of epoxy for this. However, resin bubbles tend to go to the top, or near the top. If you only pour enough to be just over the engraving, you may get more trapped bubbles. I do find that I have less that I have to deal with if I over fill. It took me about 6 minutes to sand each board.
Kind of like a charcuterie board but for cocktails. You can use the back to cut up things like lemon. And serve your cocktail on the front. We make Cocktail Smokers and these make a really nice presentation.
This was an easy laser project and a great way to start using epoxy with your engraving.
These are STUNNING!
Thank you. I always have fun with epoxy inlays!

Nice video! I don't have a laser on my cnc, but maybe my 22° vbit could work
I actually have a video on colorfilling a cnc vbit carving. See if this helps you. ruclips.net/video/bAva5VqD-4I/видео.html
Really nice inlay... but what is a cocktail board?
