Really happy to see you back and uploading regularity rob. I’ve been watching you and threadbanger in general since I was like 13. I remember finding your guys videos and as cheesy as it sounds, it definitely helped bring me joy when I was going through a difficult time. Now I’m 23 and having a difficult time as an adult. I’ve been getting back into art and it’s nice watching these creative videos

I've soaked cloth and wood items in coffee & tea, to produce some mellow, "old fashioned-ey" stained effects... This makes me think beer might be usable in the same way.

I really missed your videos and I appreciate them even more now. I'd like to write more, but I don't want to write anything hurtful, especially because we don't know anything more specific about your actual situation. I just wish that when you stop making videos there would be a goodbye video or something like that. Because I probably wouldn't be able to handle an emotional rollercoaster again like the one I experienced after Threadbanger's sudden ending 🙈

Dude, I am an artist. AI is not going to replace us. If it allows more people to unlock their creativity, let them have fun with it.
@englishatheart the issue is it "creates" by stealing other people's work. I don't want my artwork being fed into some stupid program to fart out "art" (it's not art), especially when I'll never see a penny in compensation for any of it.
pleeease replace the thumbnail. ai is poison to artists. you may be a bit harder to steal from since you're analogue, but imagine people taking pictures of your art and training an algorithm with it... until they can generate an amalgamation of your art at a click..
i would love to just enjoy the video, but ai art is something we need to take a hard stance against.
i know clicking on the video and commenting boosts the algorithm...so you've already gained something either way..still, i wanted to tell you.

i fully understand how that would've been funny, and ai is funny to make memes! it just gets critical when people start to substitute real art with it or even start calling themselves artists...
i suppose everyone is a bit sensitive right now, me included. i was really anxious when i saw the thumbnail - is he falling into the laziness of ai art? does he not value art despite being an artist? doesn't he take it seriously? has he no respect for other artists?
now, after calming down and seeing your reaction, I'm a bit embarrassed. dark humour and sarcasm define you, yet you're a heartfelt person and surely not that kind of ass. you would totally fuck with ai.
maybe you could make a little community challenge for a new thumbnail of beer painting beer.
and i think it would be funny if you tried to get ai to recreate your art. if you wanna make fun of ai
Please don't speak for all artists. I am one and know AI has its place and won't replace real artists. I have no issues with people using it if it helps more people tap into their creative side.
@@englishatheart To each their own. I didn't particularly try to speak for all artists. But by now it should be common knowledge that most art that has been used to train ai has been taken without the artists permission. you can type in art style of xy and it will do that. and that just simply isn't okay. if they had taken artworks with the artists permission - sure! if you train your own model with your own art - that'd be an interesting experiment!
and there already are ways for people to tap into their creative side - there are so many bases, tutorials, character-creators, free art programs - a pen and paper are enough to be creative. even a stick and some mud can be used creatively.
ai artists do nothing more than give prompts - like a customer. and if someone commissions me - gives me prompts - they're still not the artist.
creativity has always been something you spend times and feelings on. whether it's drawing, sculpting, writing, woodworking, 3d-design, music, sewing, crocheting, bonsai-tree-trimming...
how can ai be even close to that?
Others have said this as well, but please change the thumbnail... we can all spot the AI slop from a mile away. I really love this channel, so this is disappointing to see.

@@crazyinnocentturtleI dunno, when you amass 1 million subscribers and have people who love you and think the world of you, it’s kind of gut wrenching to not acknowledge the elephant in the room. They made a very tight-nit community and then ghosted. I get that shit happens. But I feel we deserve to know that Corrine isn’t coming back and she’s just living life happily. Or that she’s not happy. Which is honestly what I’m thinking.
