I'd bet Cristine and Rob became stronger friends after Rob's near death. Knowing her extreme desire to help others she probably flew down and helped them out or at the very least called frequently to see how everything was.
Anna: yes, The Nailogical's flew down to Asheville and they were there for a couple weeks while Rob was in the hospital and they have gone back several times since. There was even a plan to go to Disneyland before Covid showed up.

Few days ago i dreamed about getting a surgery to remove my brain because i used it too much, and when i asked the doctor why i needed that he just responded "who needs a brain anyway ?" I think my subconsciousness was trying to send me a message, maybe i should stop overthinking stuff

Also my craziest dream I've ever had was being Lotors son from Voltron legendary defenders. It was weird because I kept agreeing with everything he wanted to do just because I was ticked off. Legit we took control of the earth and actually came up with a cure for the virus.. the catch was that we had to turn the sick population into robobeasts.

For my dream, I had a really weird dream that the whole world was transported back to January of 2020 but with the knowledge of the events that were going to go down, including how many people we know have died as when the dream happened (early May 2020.) So it was basically the job of the whole world to have a second chance to learn from our mistakes.
However the thing was that our world leaders and governments weren't
doing anything so it was like watching the same train wreck in slow motion occur again, except this time you knew what was going to happen and how many people were going to die. It was actually pretty scary and awful.
The “haiku” with a 3-5-3 syllable count is making this English teacher’s eye twitch. Haiku is the Japanese word for the form and since the Japanese haiku is always 5-7-5 that’s not a damned Haiku - it’s the American version and you call that a Collum Lune. All Haikus are Lunes, not all Lunes are Haikus.

Crazy dream: I had a dream that my friend and I stole a car off of Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride from Disneyland and we’re driving it around. This car happened to seat 4, and Khloe Kardashian was with us because she was our cousin. Naturally we were crashing into everything and when people would get mad at us for crashing into their cars or houses Khloe would jump out, throw cash in their faces, then jump back in the back seat. It was decided we should go to a track, where a bunch of old dudes were using giant sticks of butter to make the road slick to make it easier to drift.
I relate so hard to everyone wanting to constantly facetime and having nothing to talk about...

I had emergency surgery and had my right kidney removed in Feb. This was just about the time COVID-19 was getting it's foothold. So my recovery took place in quarantine. Being that sick and having other underlying health concerns makes me a high risk similar yourself. So I feel for you Rob. Hang in there man and stay safe. 😊

I have the strangest dreams! One of the weirdest ones was re-occuring , It started when I was around 10 and went on until I was a teenager. In the dream I would climb this mountain covered in snow with someone else (I never saw their face but remember someone was there.) We were going to this cave in the side of the mountain where these indigenous people lived. Once we arrived there we didn't speak the same language so we had to find out how to communicate, we did this by drawing pictures in the snow. The people in the mountain seemed distressed and fearful, they drew pictures of people being killed. They were trying to tell us someone was murdering them but they didn't know who. We spent months in this cave trying to help them and could not figure out who was doing it. Until one day I was sitting on the ledge and had a flashback in the dream where I saw all the people being stabbed to death , it was from my point of view. When the flashback was over I turned around and everyone in the cave including the person who I arrived with had been murdered. I looked at my hands they were covered in blood and I held the knife.
That dream freaked me out for the longest time. I would wake up in tears after Everytime I'd have it. I must've gotten the idea from somewhere and my mind twisted it into that odd dream. I've read somewhere re-occuring dreams usually are from traumatic experiences, my entire childhood was traumatic so I attribute all my weird dreams to that.
I have had too many dreams come true.. so that reaction is 100% justified to me. What a crazy dream. But honestly sounds like a good movie.. if watch it🤷🖤.. do u still have that nightmare?

THANK YOU for summing up my general problem with this communication *thing* that we're all in right now. I was a bad at calling/texting people before all this because I'm kind of a solitary person, but before, I had a "life" if you could call it that, and so did everybody else, so if I went a while not talking to someone it was fine because we all had stuff to do. Well not we ain't got shit to do and I feel like an asshole for not constantly checking in with everyone I know but like...I also still like being left to my own devices and having this time to work on myself so...am I a bad person? As a kid I had a reoccurring nightmare about being on a TV show called "Crocodile Game Show" where you had to cross different rooms that were filled with crocodiles that were set on devouring you. Sometimes it was just an empty arena and they'd come out of the floor, other times there were obstacles. There was no winning this show either. I vividly remember having to use an elevator that was just a mechanical platform and the crocodiles would start flooding the elevator. I don't think I ever made it past the elevator, either.

Now your dream, your yard, you realize friends and family are endangered, the balloon represents escape, your 3rd person view watching it from above, you deeply emphasize because of your own very recent near death experience. It's one of the most captivating pieces of art ive seen come from this tragedy. If there is a museum erected from this you should donate it. With a few projects. Glad you're good! GFY btw. ;)

3:02 I've always had crazy dreams, LONG before this virus. The craziest ones are the ones where I'm murdered/tortured. Can't tell you how many times I've been shot in my dreams.. I have a lot of reoccurring ones too. Once changed the outcome of one and more often than not, I dream of carnivals/circuses. 3:30 That's awesome! 4:52 I LOVE THAT! 7:22 That shirt X'D 8:15 NEED! 12:56 I read it all and I both want to bleach my brain and read more! lol

My craziest dream: In the dream I was part of a team of scientists who wanted to determine, unequivocally, what effect certain lifestyle choices had on the human lifespan, and we decided we would do this by assuming control of people and living their lives and making their choices to a scientific specification. They were still individuals but we could force them to have irresistible compulsions to take whatever action we wanted, to carry out our experiment. My first assignment was to live a normal life and make choices that were about 50% responsible (there was a flow diagram for this), but my best friend had to make really irresponsible choices. Somehow the people we were controlling met and became friends too, and the person I was in control of became really upset watching their best friend do hard drugs and take risks and generally ruin their life no matter what anyone did. They kept begging this friend to stop, but obviously the friend couldn't because we were using them for our experiment, and both of them were upset because they could not explain this behaviour. Eventually my person found the friend dead, and they got even more distressed/frustrated because we wouldn't let them grieve the way they wanted because we were still forcing them to make mostly responsible choices. Eventually they died young because of factors outside of our control and then I was back up the lab and had to write up my results.
That is a super fascinating dream! It sounds like it could be adapted into a movie, and i wish it were, I'd absolutely watch it.

One of my weirdest dreams was I was at a dinosaur theme park and of course all the dinosaurs got loose and people were running everywhere and I was running out with my roommate but I turned back to go into the park just because my roommate had left her wallet....... I mean who goes back into danger just to get somebody’s wallet? 🤣😂 btw your art is fantastic Rob!
