She is a great teacher, what will really blow your mind is that she has a Bachelor's of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology, & a PhD in Human/Medical Genetics degree to go with that hardcore Board diagnostics skills. How do you like her now?
In electronics the 2 fundamentals are Power = Volts x Current and Volts = Current x Resistance. Or P = VI and V = RI. Fundamentals says that at low voltage, if you have high current, your resistance will be low. Because I = V/R , so R needs to be lower that V for I to be high. BUT! With semi-conductors, resistance becomes a variable that can change based on several factors that includes a voluntary provoked and controlled changes by an other part of the circuit. This means, among other things, that R will be different if the circuit is powered or not. You cannot use an Ohmmeter on a powered circuit. But an Ohmmeter on the same unpowered circuit can lie to you. Understanding the circuit and your measurement instruments are keys to diagnostics. This is what Jessa is explaining.
wow she is at ifixit???????i thought she did not like ifixit???? i saw this something she posted about ifixit check out this video ruclips.net/video/XVXaxTVAkb8/видео.html
interesting points ,if anyone else wants to discover pc repair try Saankramer Electronic Magazine System (just google it ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my friend got great success with it.
The Peek-a-Boo action from behind the microscope is very distracting . Maybe you might be wheels on your seat/chair and face the class directly when 'talking'! Had to abandon this video...sorry. Also, lose the 'man-voice' for show...doesn't suit you.
21:04 worth of video and I'm now way more confident. Such a great way of teaching. I love your approach.
I wish I had this teacher in my electronics class!
she's great, thanks iFixit!

She has Phd on mollecular genetics, i wish i had her as my teacher too 😂
i love her ipadrehab stuff so much .
This woman is amazing
That was a fascinating 20+ minutes!!! Beautiful explanations of some complex electrical engineering. Please, more JJ vids.
Thank you very much Jessa! Lesson is really valuable.

Great teaching 😃 i want to see the result please
Hi there Jessa, I just saw a CBC broadcast about how you do Data recovery for Iphones and was hoping you can do the same with a Blackberry Z10?
How did you get iPhone 6 schematic? You reference it showing pp_gpu
Great Video On iPhone Repair. It's nice to see a good POV to further my knowledge
Wow! Excellent teacher
Please show the image from the microscope next time!
All you have to do is visit her channel, "Ipad Rehab" & watch all the HD schematics & microscope views to your heart contents.
to the left of the screen is the monitor. Are you f-kin blind?
Awesome!!! More please!!!
Amazing,out of this world 👌
You are missing the lower antena conector
and you're missing an n
Do you have an iPhone 10 you would like to sell? Used what ever I would like to buy..please let me know thanks again
