Hey man, once your done with your route and arrive back at station do you need to check in with anyone or do you just primarily park and then head home? I recall you saying you had worked for Amazon so you know they have a process were you have to check with Amazon and then check in with your DSP, then go home.

I did 3 ride alongs but i wasnt shown nothing and had no trainers just thrown out there lol to drove by myself with first 41 packages lol i did 21 but i guess i was behind lol so i had another new guy who had only 12 & finished early!!! Come.and get the rest of mine and finish off lol but yeah im figuring it out tommrow i work hopefully they give me some good packages so i can move faster & get the hang of it. I am a swing driver. The hardest parts i came across was the small, small, small streets where you can only drive in but you can't use a neighbors drive way to back out cause cars are everywhere and theirs no room. So i started to park outside thise type of streets and walk it but that was killing my time. I swear i didnt have those i woulda been good lol

I applied for Non-Dot Courier position and I wanted to know if that means I’ll only be driving vans ? I know the p700 and p1000 don’t have air brakes so I figured I’d still get to drive them but I guess not since they weigh over 10,000 ?
I got the phone call and then did the in person interview, it all went great and I have 2 years experience with ground but they told me after the interview I’ll get a call within a week and I’ll know then if I got the job and receive a packet. I’m worried because I’ve heard from some that if you don’t get the packet at the interview it’s a no, but I’m prolly just thinking to much into it.
Thanks for these videos, really helps me remember and prepare myself for the routine again.

@@Locate2024 you will do your drug screen and background. The drug screen is what takes the longest! Took me about a month for a call back. Once that is done, you will pretty much be on a computer for the next 2 weeks (maybe mixed in with some on the road training) after that you will be doing your driving test. Once you pass, You will be put on the road ASAP! I suggest if your going to have your own route, to ask for as much info about that place/assistance .
