I like this video series idea a lot! I like how you compared the mascaras but I was pretty disappointed when you didn't do the same with all the other products. Personally I don't think you can just test products by putting them on your hand, products look different after applied to the face. To give an honest comparison I think you should apply both of the products. This video series has great potential!
I LOVE how you can have fun, informative, and creative videos that aren't 25min long. Some of my favorite YTbers started off with short videos and suddenly every video takes up half an hour of my life, and it sucks, because we don't always have half an hour to spend on YT. I really want to master this because I tend to ramble too, so keeping my own videos is no easy feat. So glad I watched this before spending on some of the high end stuff!
First off, New subscriber! Second, I think you should call this series Dump, Dupe, or Dope (for if it's better than a dupe)
You should do 1/2 face drugstore and then 1/2 face high end using dupes, at the end you compare the looks and price❤️

Racheal, try keeping the mascara wand and using another cheaper mascara instead because it might just be the wand that you like so much. I may be wrong but try, it's a great way to save money. Buy it once and keep using it.

To be fair I think they definitely need to be applied to your skin. In my experiences, swatches don't always translate the same on the face. I like the idea but a facial side by side comparison would be better :)

Hey Rach! There is an elf dupe for the Nars palette! It's in the exact same packaging except it is a different shade!! You got the lighter shade but there is a shade that is almost exactly like the Nars palette. I don't know if that made any sense but trust me there is! Love your videos!

+Minxable24 Same colors but the pigmentation is nowhere as close as the UD one. I have to build up the colors from the Makeup Revolution and they don't last as long on the eyes as the UD.
L'Orèal also has a palette that's really similar to the Naked palette, it's probably the second best dupe to makeup revolution
this would be soooo much better if you tried them on your face not just hand swatches

Coastal scents has pallet dupes for the naked pallets. It's their "revealed" pallet line. They're beautiful pallets. Plus only 20$ each. And their brushes are really nice. I'd love to see dupes for Mac products,but cruelty free!

The dupe of the NAKED 1 is the "Barely Exposed" palette by City Color, they're indentical
i loved this video and i definitely got some good dupes off of this :) i just wish you kind of did a half and half face and/or maybe demonstrated how the products wore during the day. the big problem with dupes that i find is that they may swatch earlier but they fade super quick or the pigmentation fades after an hour haha.

A dupe for naked pallet is the collection eyes uncovered nude bronze pallet it is literally the same although doesn't have as many colours it's AMAZING 🎉👍
If you really like that mascara. Keep the brush and get a cheep mascara. It's usually the brush you like and not the mascara itself
1. the first "sentence" that u said isn't actually a sentence, and 2. no, not most of the time... people usually like the mascara (not the brush) bc some mascara clumps, some doesn't. some mascara is a different color than others, and some feel lighter on your eyelashes than others. so usually it's the mascara that u like, not the brush (even if u like the brush too).
+Laini M for me I sometimes like the brush way more than the formula of mascaras because some brushes dont grab and apply the mascara well.
I do this with my favourite mascara wand and it works well (:

I think you got the wrong elf contour/blush palette. The one you have looks like it's St. Lucia, the dupe is in the shade Fiji, which is all matte. I have it and it works really well!
