I thought for light skin, you're supposed to use a more coral toned lipstick to cancel out blue. Red is for deep skin. That's just what I've heard though!
I heard for light skin you go for the one with a blue under tone XD haha I heard if off of The Real, they tested the different under tones of red lipstick on models to show.
i thought the side with the red color corrector much prettier and more suitable for your skin tones. The other side ~ too yellow

Instead of the Nivea after shave balm I use the Neutrogena Men Triple Protect Face Lotion, which is an aftershave balm too but it has added SPF 20. It works wonders for my oily skin and it erases all my pores. LOVE ITTTT

alcohol, but you have to cover it with a paper towel and let it sit overnight.

The red lipstick one was more successful than I was expecting, but kind of made it look like your cheek just got pinched haha. The original way you covered your undereye circles seemed to work really well without the lipstick, so I'd just stick with that. Great job!

Unfortunately it's not good for your under eyes because lipsticks have more chemicals and the undereye is a more sensitive area

I feel like the lipstick - undereye hack would work better with an orangey colored lipstick. undereye correctors are usually peach/salmon colored.
Red works! Most RUclipsrs use too much when doing these videos. But I use a bright red almost everyday under my eyes and you would never know if I didn't fell you! FYI, I'm the lightest shade of foundation with almost every brand.
The color it was after blending is what it should be BEFORE she blended it from my experience.
+Sheila Marable I'm thinking it would be based on your undertone. For instance I am very fair and my eye brighteners usually have a pinky undertone. But I feel like deeper and more olive toned complexions have more peachy concealers
The yellow gives more coverage, but the lipstick side gives it a more natural "skin" look.

The post shave balm works amazing, the only thing I noticed is you weren't using enough. I pour out about a dime size on my fingers and massage it in for about 15-30 and it works better than anything else I've ever used.

For the orange concealer thing to work you're supposed to use a shade that's closer to your skin tone. You should've used a much lighter color like a light creamsicle colour
I found you for the first time tonight so I've only watched a few lovely videos. There is something I've noticed that you might be interested to consider. Your neck an arms have warm and golden undertones but your make up is done with a cool base. I've wondered why you use cool base make up when you have warm tones on your skin.

I use the Nivea men's aftershave balm and it is EVERYTHING. It's a lot cheaper than primers, it's a bigger bottle than most primers, and it's actually really good for dry skin. I put a quarter-size on my finger, spread it in between my two hand for just a couple of seconds, and while still runny, apply it to my face, from the center, out. I rub it in in small circles until it becomes less runny. You could say "tacky," but it's not incredibly sticky. And for me, my foundation and everything still looks flawless after more than 12 hours except for on my nose. I have combination skin, and my nose is the only oily part of me, so it does get shiny throughout the day, but that's easy to touch up. I've been using this product for only about a month, but it has seriously worked amazingly.

FYI...I don't think you used enough of the balm. I use about a dime size and rub it in until it gets tacky on the skin and even let it set for a minute while I wash my beauty blender. I have really oily skin and I feel like it keeps my oil at bay longer, makes my pores look smaller and keeps my foundation on all day (although all foundation breaks up around my nose and chin)
tip for the eyeshadow one:
break up the shadow until it's basically powder. add very small amounts of the alcohol at a time until it turn into a thick paste.
put a type of tissue over it (I once used a dried makeup remover wipe and it worked quite well) and then use something to press it gently, like something round and flat works great.
be really gentle not to just press the paste out of the pan. You're basically pressing some of the liquid out and giving it a bit of a flatter shape.
plus it gets a bit of a nice surface texture.
Be sure to not use fresh makeup wipes as they have too much oils and water and that might make the eyeshadow weird, just like when you get water on an eyeshadow and a brush just doesn't pick it up properly anymore.
Probably best to use a piece of dry, not too thin tissue paper.

Oily people's primer options: use 1) urban decay Eden primer potion as a primer in your t-zone/ anywhere you get oily or 2) use milk of magnesia. I highly recommend this option, it dries to a white color if you use enough and makes your foundation very smooth and full coverage (not cakey at all), and it'll last all day. Both options will last very long. Hope this helps anyone who needs it xx
