Where is the connection to add the refrigerant? For 2018 Tahoe. See the connection on top passenger side where is the other one? Thank you.

I'm getting ready to do this in my 2018 Tahoe as well. Replacing the condenser. Did you end up adding the additional 8oz can of refrigerant or did the 3 cans do the job?

Yes sir, 3 cans did the job just fine. Haven't had to add anymore yet. Went through the whole blistering Texas summer.

@WorksforMe Nice! Thanks for the update. I'm also in TX. Just thankful the leak happened now in January and not in July!

@@bryanspelhaug2135 just sold this Tahoe yesterday to get a Bronco or a 4WD Suburban, i'm sure i'll have to do this job again, Lol. Anyway. I added roughly 2oz through the low side line with a tiny funnel but i think there is a lot of wiggle room in exact oil amount. I use the oil also as a means to rid the line of air as i loaded up the R1234yf.

Perfect thanks again. Waiting on adapter for my vacuum pump then will be starting the job! @@WorksforMe

@@WorksforMe Just wanted to report back that I got my Tahoe back to blowing cold air. I think it's even colder than from the factory. Mine ended up needing 3.5 can of refrigerant. Thanks again for posting this video it helped me out. Now I have the tools next time to do 1234YF refrigerant for the next vehicle :)

I added it into the low-side recharge hose (blue one) with a tiny funnel and along with the refrigerant it got sucked in. I believe about 1-2oz just to top off after the compressor swap.
