Thank you for the video . I know it wasn’t perfect and you didn’t have a full camera crew filming you. Just Want to say thanks I got my 2016 Silverado 5.3L LT 4x4 back up n cooling again. Took me 4 hours in total with leak search included. 😅 but I high pressure tested the system with nitrogen to 135psi and held for 1 hour then released the nitro charge and then a deep vacuum till below 300 microns added 24oz r134a got to a perfect 47psi on the low side giving us a vapor saturation temp of 45°f perfect charge.
Thank You for the video along with this just came around and reared its ugly head. Also, if you haven't done it yet don't forget about getting a dongle to keep the engine from going back and forth from 4 cyl to 8 cyl according to the required power, luckily, I caught ours before bad things happen the wife's brothers' truck engine lifters staid collapsed and five months later, he got it back from the dealership who had to replace the parts that failed.
Thats life my friend. In the real work, things don't always go smoothly. Some guys post car how-to videos but edit out all of the trouble spots. They make it look like oil never leaks, the floors never get dirty. Their hands and clothes are spotless and it all goes perfectly smooth. I don't do that, I show it all.
