Hes literally ready to show his heart to the world at the drop of a hat... he seems always on the verge of crying if you ask him the right question... so much pain inside wanting to be released....
Joe Louis was champion for nearly 12 straight years and successfully defended the title 25 times in a row, winning 22 of those by knock out. He was also named fighter of the year 4 times. Just sayin... oh, and Larry Holmes won 16 world title fights in the 80's. Tyson won 10. Boy, I sure rained on that parade...lol Oh, and Im pretty sure people still remember Micheal Jordans prime.
@embryo923 I believe that too, but don't forget that he's retired, he was arrogant alright back then but most boxers do that, to show their confidence of course which is necessary.
@damuu3985 I understand what you're saying but it doesn't work like that my friend. Now, knowing what I know, I know that in Mike, he must of had an enormous Ego back then (understandable). He needed to get lost, in order to find himself - his true essence, his greater Self. He is on a spiritual path and that's why you (and many others) like/prefer this Mike to the 'other' Mike. He has Surrendered himself. Trust me, it's for his higher good - and now his life is soooooo much richer for it
Mike has evolved as a man. Great to see his humbleness. He pulls no punches now, and words come from his heart. Much respect.
"Old to fast, smart to late. " wow !!!!
Does anyone know where I can find this whole interview ?
