At the beginning of this video Dermot the presenter attempts to ask Tyson about the tragic death of his daughter to be honest he took a fucking liberty even going down that road, I have seen the interviews they do on Sky they always push their luck and if he asked me what he asked Mike I would of ripped his head off there and then, Dermot Murnaghan you have no class or deceny.
What a disgraceful interview. Deliberately insincere and provocative in the extreme. He even casually raises the issue of Tyson's daughter's death a few months earlier. Sky News is the British equivalent of Fox News (both Murdoch owned).
He was trying to get Mike to say something bad or contrversial to make some fame for himself, but Mike is no spring chicken he knew what was happening and was too clever. The mainstream media never understood Mike to be intelligent but he is!
I think the interview was ridiculous, How disrespectful can a man be. He obviously did touch a raw nerve a couple of times and perhaps he should have backed off a bit when he saw Tyson bristling a bit at some of his questions. Tyson is clearly a very intelligent man and ha handled himself pretty well too but he just got a bit upset about bringing up the issue about his daughter's death which entirely understandable.
I'm happy that Mike Tyson is doing well. He clearly loves his kids--and finally, he's able to share the love he probably never fully enjoyed earlier in life--having grown up so early, with so much, and yet, so little. Now, I think he's found true wealth in his relationship with his family.
What a wasted opportunity for the interviewer to learn sth. from a man who has been through a lot of things and has now really grown wise. This special wisdom of Mike Tyson makes me happy and glad. For us, who were so sad seeing the young Tyson's talent loosing against his inner demons, it is now a real happy end to see: he found his peace. He still might carry some demons inside, still some more problems may occur in the future. But he's on the right path.
