to see this chamring britain gentleman boxer henry cooper with ali is so touching .. knowing the affection and the reconization they got for each other .. and henry cooper was always present in mohamed ali shows he was always in the audience and always ali had good words about him .. and then seeing them very old in the car and cooper lifting ali's hand that s shaking cause of parkinson .. i cried inside ... may god bless them both .. i love henry cooper smile :))
In the 60’s I used to have my hair cut in Soho and on a few occasions both Henry and his brother would come in for the same. True gentle giants - so friendly not affected in any way.
It's Ironic that the majority of the British fight fans and public of all colours loved and adored Muhammad Ali much more than the Americans, the British public and fight fans really took him to their hearts and its born out of Ali being voted the greatest sports man and icon of the twentieth century who polled more votes than all the others contestants combined. You can all say what you want but the figures and votes don't lie the greatest rip.
I think I can honestly say that I will cry when muhammad ali goes home. I have never seen this man in my life, but feel as if I know him like he lived next door. I hate to see him like he is now it is really sad........I love you muhammad ali.
Thank you very much. I really enjoyed watching this documentary. I am a member of the Ali Center in Louisville, KY. And I'm going to ask them if this documentary is in the archives.
A big salute to the Great Britain's great people who know how to immortalise the moments and how to pay their respects to the great talents like evergreen Mohammad Ali...
MultiMm2009 He was a blessing I would say. Boxing became greater and I am grateful especially at Ali for his character, his ability in the ring and all the exitment. Miss you champ and you will always be The Greatest of all time.

While walking in Park Lane London in the ‘60’s I met Ali he was jogging and stopped to talk. Great Legendary Boxer - very special personality.
What did he say?

Anyone who says tyson is the best bixer, doesn't know anything about the great sport of boxing, Ali rewrote boxing and he is and always will be the greatest of all time.
The bit at the end with Henry Cooper gets me every time. R.I.P
Brilliant documentary
It's funny how he was more loved in Britain than in America.
Ali wasn't defending his title, Holmes was defending his.
Search for the music: [Mohammad Ali - The black Superman] by Johnny Wakelin. Enjoy!
Un homme extraordinaire très inspirant
Je l’admire énormément

Dra åt helvete
Thank you for uploading all videos.
Thank you so much ......
I developed love to Britain because their good treatment to Mohammad Ali
As a kid I use to watch all of his fights in department stores where a big crowd gathered.
Great footage there never seen before
simply the best
It was a great show , does any one know who did the music, ? the end tune is brilliant Jazz funk.
What about the Bugner fights? Not in Britain, but neither was Richard Dunn's.
Yes, that's true.
They shouldn't have included the Dunn fight.
i forwarded the part of larry holmes against ali .. should be removed cause shameful
Me to
I watched as a teenager. I'm 53 now and can't watch it to this day. I forwarded also.
Ali great show man ! Tyson number one all time heavyweight!!
Brilliant, does any one know the name of the music at the end please?
ThNk you Angelo..
Ali wasn't champion in 1980 as this documentary states, Holmes was the defending champion in their fight.
this was in 1983
the short interview when they ask him about his health
The greatest
Very moving story
Inspiring Vid, And The Music Is Dope!
So sad 😢 love ali x
RIP
Sadly you cut out the end titles which has the most amazing jazz Funk tune, just wish I knew who did it.?
Ali didn't defend his title in 1980 against Larry Holmes, he was the challenger. These documentary makers are terrible!
getting old happens to us all unfortunatly
@gerladiant
DJ Shadow "This Time, I'm Gonna Try it My Way"
7:26 where can i find that picture?
Blatant lie he didn't defend is title against Larry Holmes he was the challenger
It wasn't a lie but just really, *really* sloppy.
Even the close-up of the poster a few seconds later stated that Holmes was the champion!
Cause of Parkinson ali lose the fight never see boxer like him
Ali having wine 🍷 at end
0:39 Oh, come on...
That is such a sloppy mistake, it's really ridiculous.
tyson in top 5 but not number 1.
Can't find part 2 and 3
Real talk lol
Boxing was good while Muhammad Ali was doing it!
...otherwise boxing is shit.
