Lesson 47. Pattern “Braids and relief”.

The scheme:
The number of loops must be divisible by 8 + 5 + 2 edge stitch.
In the example the number of loops are 23.
1 row - color 1 - knit 5, *T3R, knit 5*.
2 row - color 1 - purl loops only.
3 row - color 2 - knit 1, sl 1, knit 1, sl 1, knit 1, *sl 3, knit 1, sl 1, knit 1, sl 1, knit 1*.
4 row - color 2 - knit 1, sl 1 purl, knit 1, sl 1 purl, knit 1, *sl 3 purls, knit 1, sl 1 purl, knit 1, sl 1 purl, knit 1*.
Repeat from the 1st row.
** - repeat loops specified between **.
sl 1 - slip 1 knit loop with yarn in back.
sl 3 - slip 3 knit loops with yarn in back.
sl 1 purl - slip one purl loop with yarn in front.
sl 3 purls - slip three purl loops with yarn in front.
T3R - twisted 3 knit stitches to the right - 2 loops are transferred to an additional needle behind the work, knit 1 from the left needle, then knit 2 from the additional needle.
